I was a self-referral to this medical/surgical practice. My appointment was a Monday morning at 9:20am. I had been informed this office appointment could take as long as 3 hours, so I planned accordingly. I took a sweater. I was at my appointment 3 hours plus a few minutes more. I had wait time 3 places while I was there. The first was waiting to be registered once I arrived. The second was waiting to be called back after registration was complete (for the diagnostic tests to begin). The third was waiting to meet the physician/surgeon once the diagnostic testing was completed. Here is where I spent the most wait time. I waited in this room for greater than one hour. When Dr Findley arrived he was very generous with his time. He performed his assessments then explained what my treatment options are/were. He answered my questions thoroughly. Here I would say the video explanations of each surgical procedure were just OK. I would have benefited from more (I'm mostly a visual learner). My last stop was with the surgery scheduler/financial advisor/patient educator. Written materials and verbal explanations were reviewed.Their offices are conveniently found off of Harrodsburg Road. There is ample parking and the building is easily accessible for walking/wheelchairs. The practice manages their patient flow exceptionally well. Promptly (the same day) I was invited to give this Google review. The reason I offer a 4-star rating I attribute to my wait time. Thank you. Laura Hill

Dr. Findley is friendly and thorough. He put me at ease right away. I will definitely recommend him to anyone looking for an opthalmologist.

In 2005 I had PRK laser surgery on both eyes at the age of 50 without any issues and went from the coke bottle glasses to not wearing glasses at all. After the healing period jump forward 20 years now at the age of 70 like most of the population the dreaded issue with CATARACTS now hits me in what seemed like a 3 month period of time. It's now time for Laser assisted Cataract surgery to enhance the astigmatism problem I previously had one eye set for distance and the other for close up with the PRK surgery 20 years later it's recommended I keep MONO VISION using a standard lens replacement in my Left eye and a Toric lens in my right eye. A week later my vision is still slightly blurred which is expected with really no other vision issues I'm saying all this is tell my nearly 20 year vision experience and to highly recommend this Cataract surgery procedure IF it's right for your vision problems, it won't work for everyone but it's a near painless procedure with quick recovery and great vision benefits.

Commonwealth Eye care is the best! Every staff member listened to my concerns and were very courteous! Dr Findley was very thorough and explained my treatment options clearly and called a retinal specialist to work me in as an emergency. Jesse was the best technician I've seen in my five visits there. The surgical staff upstairs were excellent as well!!

Very impressed with Dr Findley. He was informative and clear on the procedures that I was receiving. I would highly recommend to all neighbors and friends ( or anyone) needing an Excellent eye care professional.

I felt comfortable with my experience at Commonwealth Eye Surgery. Dr. Findley was very professional and answered all my questions so I could understand to my satisfaction.

Excellent staff, everything was explained thoroughly. Dr Findley explained everything and also all the possible procedures for my cataracts. I give my 5 star recommendation and will tell all my friends.!!
