I'm a little disappointed about the place, I friend recommended it to me and the dr. is very nice, but I had my appointment scheduled a year ago and appointed in my calendar then it was rescheduled a week before because vacation. I wish I would have been told with more time in advance since my time off at work is very strict and also the working hours at this place are not great in general so it's hard for me to reschedule. Another thing I didn't like is that the pair of glasses that I got last year have a poor quality, they still hurt behind my ears.

ARE consummate PROFESSIONALS!!!! 2) EXCELLENT PRICES!!! Dr. Costa has every optical place in Lexington BEAT!!! Highest quality for the most competitive prices!!! (STOP PAYING HUGH AMOUNTS w/your expensive insurance) after YOUR insurance pays what? 50, 60%??!!! For YOUR OVERPRICED FRAMES!? LENSES!?! 3) HUGH SELECTION!!! No worries here!!! She has all brands. If you don't see it; it can be ordered. (ask Marissa for help with styles & fits! She picked out MINE!!!) 4) Insurance? Dr. Costa has the FINEST service HERE!!! If you're not sure? CALL. (Marissa usually answers!) They can usually check for you! (Marissa CAN) They DO call right back!!! (Marissa DOES) YES!!! Dr. Costa took my MEDICAID!!! (NOT A MISPRINT) She took care of my eye exam (Lexi first!!!), frames, lenses, etc. I did not have to pay anything with my Medicaid plan!!!??? 5) CALL Dr. Costa's office BEFORE you call or go to your cruddy, overpriced glasses place. She is a TRUE, GENUINE, CERTIFIED OPTOMETRIST!!! She took lots of HER TIME to educate me about eye care, health, maintenance, etc!!?? (Lexi will check your eyes with their state of the art gadgets!!!) 6) PREPARE TO BE KNOCKED OUT!!! THE BEST OPTOMETRIST IN LEXINGTON!!! (YOU TOO MARISSA & LEXI !!!!!!)

I have been a client since Dr. Costa has been open. The atmosphere is one that is very clean, staff are most helpful. I feel comfortable with the care I receive and the professional service provided.

Gone there 2 years in a row. First year, the contacts they prescribed were so far off that I had to leave the movie I had gone to see that night. This year, they tried to fit me with bifocals, said something was wrong with my retina, and sent me to a specialist. Three appointments later, turns out there was nothing wrong with my retina. I only ever needed gas permeable contacts. I'm sorry to leave this review, but they botched my diagnosis 2 years in a row, and this year alone I'm out 4 days of work and a useless pair of glasses

Dr Costa and staff are kind, professional and personable. They had pulled up my insurance info before my appointment and were able to advise on lens options and pricing. Helped me choose new frames that look good on me and were honest about ones that did not suit my shape/coloring. Very pleased with my new glasses.

I hadn't been to the eye doctor in nearly 5 years when I found this gem last week! Dr Costa is one of very few independently owned practices - and a treasure to Lexington! The cake: eye exam at a great price, welcoming crew, all my questions answered, etc. The icing you won't find anywhere else: Kindness and total focus on your appointment, a laugh while you chat, honesty while you pick those new frames, and Dr Costa allowed me to put down what I could at the time of ordering my new frames. As long as she is here and will take me, I will be her patient!

My wife and I went to our eye exams with Dr. Costa. She and her staff are very friendly and professional. We each received a very thorough eye examination by Dr. Costa. She gives very detailed information about the condition of your eyes during the exam. One of her staff members was very helpful to us during the frame selection process. We highly recommend Vision Thru Design for anyone who is interested in personalized eye care.
