A WARNING TO THE PUBLIC: Do not enter into a surgical contract with Bennett & Bloom Eye Centers / EyeCare Partners. Their team overcorrected during my PRK vision correction procedure, permanently damaging my vision. What was a small astigmatism in both eyes is now remaining astigmatism, hyperopia, and severe dry eye disease. Their company has not only denied all wrongdoing, but has shifted all blame on me, the patient, refuses any payout in damages, only offers a refund if I sign a legal waiver for my permanent silence, and has threatened me for calling their offices, or becoming frustrated over their repeated stonewalling, disrespect, permanent injury, gaslighting, threats, lack of accountability, patient blame, and more. This company is ghastly! I have records, audio recordings of their own admissions of guilt, proof of their cover-ups and lies, evidence that they skew eye exam results, and testimonies from several doctors that the damage is due to their own negligence, incompetence, and surgical error. Yet they refuse to accept any wrongdoing. Such horrendous results and permanent damage were not part of the deal. Beware of this company, do not get surgery here! You will be tied up in litigation when they harm you, and you will get nothing out of it but misery.

Going on 2 years since my ICL surgery and I can't thank Dr. Tenkman enough for giving me the gift of sight. I've been in contacts and glasses since as far back as I can remember (since I was a toddler). After my military service, my sight worsen to the point glasses weren't even an option. I wake up and I can see and that's the greatest feeling! A life changing surgery done by the master of his trade. Thank you!

I cannot recommend Bennett and Bloom enough! They've been taking care of my eye issues for 5 years and everyone has been wonderful, from the Retina specialists team to the Cataract team to billing to the surgical center and more. Ive seen several doctors there but my primary team is Dr Inder Singal and Dr Fraser McKay. Today Dr Lawrence Tenkman did my cataract surgery. Also a great experience and I'm already seeing so much better. Everyone is so nice and most importantly, skilled. I'm so grateful my old optometrist referred me to them when my retina issues began.

I had to get something removed from my eye and was very nervous for the procedure. But Doctor Eckel was great and calmed my nerves! I wish I remembered their names but the techs that assisted me were so kind and fun to talk to as well! The procedure itself was quick and painless. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone!

I would like to commence by stating that I typically provide positive reviews. However, my experience with Bennett and Bloom on May 12, 2025, was an exception that left a lasting negative impression. In the past, I had appointments with a different provider, with whom I had a pleasant and professional experience. Conversely, my encounter with Dr. Tenkman in May was unprecedented. The prolonged wait began at 1:45 and concluded at 5:00 pm leaving me with the impression that I was the last patient to depart. During this time, I experienced unusual knocks and observed numerous posters featuring Dr. Tenkman as the 'Eye Ninja' plastered on the examination room walls and was subjected to pushy sales techniques for dry eye silicone implants. Furthermore, Dr. Tenkman boasted about being an extremely busy surgeon who performs surgery between patient consultations, implying that he is too busy to perform my surgery himself. Instead, he suggested that one of his fellow doctors, who were equally capable, would perform the procedure. The only reasons I assigned a rating of three instead of one star were my initial positive experience with another provider for a different eye condition and the staff's professionalism. I I definitely wasted my $45 copay on this visit and had to schedule a second opinion with another facility, in which I paid another $45 to get a straight professional answer. $90 loss ,but in reality, only a $45 loss based on my experience with Bennett and Bloom.

I had cataract surgery at Bennett and Bloom and everyone was very nice. Everything that was done, from the antibiotics to the actual surgery was explained in detail. Awesome results!!!

My experience with Bennett & Bloom could not have been better! Although still difficult for me to comprehend, within the time span of 3 hours I was diagnosed with a detached retina by Dr. Gogel at Focus Eyecare and received a corrective procedure by Dr. Bloom at the Bennett & Bloom office. This was at a time when both Focus Eyecare and Bennett & Bloom were servicing a full plate of other patients. Both doctors recognized the severity of my eye injury and did everything they could to expedited treatment. Dr. Bloom and his team even stayed after hours to ensure that my injury (and the other patient's issues) were addressed before going home. I only have the best things to say about the care, compassion and expertise provided by Dr. Gogel and the staff at Focus Eyecare as well as Dr. Bloom and his team at Bennett & Bloom. Now thirty days from the date of my initial produce, I am blessed to be fully recovered from my injury. A heartfelt "Thank You" to Dr. Bloom and to your staff for giving me the highest level of care possible!

Dr. Bloom is the kindest eye doctor I've come across in my 35+ years of needing an eye doctor. His practice is set up to be as efficient and accommodating as possible. The patient is always treated with the highest respect and professionalism. Having to go to an eye specialist can be nerve- racking but all of his staff and the doctor himself have always put me at ease and explained my situation and answered my questions. I am so appreciative of a doctor that is so kind while being excellent at his craft.
