Never sure what to expect when you see a new health provider. But Retina Associates of KY, especially Dr. Purkiss and his staff were exceptional. A new patient requires more examining and information gathering, and this staff did not miss a thing. They were pleasant and very professional. Dr. Purkiss was a true professional in the way he would explain test results in a manner that was understandable. He was also a good listener which is rare in today's health world. I'd give them 10 stars if that were an option.

Very organized. Staff was also friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Purkiss was very thorough in examing my scans of the my eye. He explained his findings clearly and in layman's terms. Recommend this office if you have any need for an opthmologist.

Doctor wouldn't even speak with my son who has extreme pain on a regular basis. We were hoping he could help my son get back some of his quality of life after an incident that caused him so much pain. No such thing can happen if the doctor refuses to speak with a patient.
