What a fantastic eye care experience! I came in for a very overdue annual exam. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, and the doctor was informative and made me feel very comfortable. I will definitely be returning for my annual exams and recommending them to anyone that needs an eye exam or frames!

Dr. Sutton was both professional and personable. I appreciated that she took the time to explain everything clearly and answer all of my questions. I also had an excellent experience with opticians Jamie and Rachel. Jamie didn't try to upsell me on frames or lenses and walked me through what my insurance would and would not cover. She also let me know I could keep my current frames and simply replace the lenses--an option I didn't realize was available, and one that saved me money while letting me keep frames I love. Rachel was equally helpful, explaining the differences between frame companies and making sure my new lenses were working properly when I picked up my glasses. I was very satisfied with my experience at Falls City Eye Care and will definitely return. Highly recommended.

I love falls city eye care! It's just what you want if you're looking for a local eye care doctor! The Doc is so personable and really cares! The building is gorgeous btw. The service and care you get when you walk through the door is hands down the best in the city! I recently had a stye for the first time and Dr. M taught me everything I needed to know and fixed me right up! If you want a doctor's office that feels like family and still has all the night tech equipment def go here!

Dr Martorana and his team represent a rare breed-- local, ruggedly independent professionals who have resisted the lure of selling out to a national corporate chain. You can feel the difference in the group's respect for *your* time, budget and concerns.

Spouse and I had a great experience getting our eye exams and glasses. Dr Sutton was very sweet with a calming and reassuring disposition. Rachel was absolutely fantastic putting up with 2 goofy older folks picking out glasses when we were in a hurry for a car appointment. (We wouldn't normally schedule like that, but didn't have a choice this time) Also, the young lady from Tennessee (name?) who did our testing was great too. Definitely recommend.

Fall City Eye Care on Bardstown Dr. Sutton is excellent. The person who worked with me on my eyeglasses is excellent. They gave me the time I needed, answered all my questions, and are knowledgeable and smart.

You all keep calling me and I did not ask you too. I did not pay for the sample sized items, I am notifying others it will be easy to mistakenly buy them. I also understood my bill. I am pointing out to others there is a much different "standard" package then at other retailers. You have been very clear with me and if I could make me 1 star review be 0 I absolutely would. Stop reviewing your own reviews, it's bad business. Update on response: Hey Kayla, we tried reaching out to go over your invoice with you and discuss how your insurance works. There were not drops or other products besides glasses on there. Also, we clearly go over your total and what you are purchasing and then have you sign an acknowledgement that we have done that and you agree to pay that amount for your purchase. If you would like us to do that again or you are having any other problems please give us a call so we can try to resolve the issue for you. Thank you! Greedy business. Great doctors, but upcharging on all. Purchased standard lenses and was charged for three upgrades, which is not what "standard" is at other offices, that is just meaning these are mandatory upgrades. Have to schedule an appointment to pick up the glasses you have already purchased. They also send you to counter with sample sized items and then ring you up for them, so make sure to note this as it is not the typical free items like free doctors and dentists. Will not be returning except for when they let me come in for the hundteds of dollars on glasses that they are gatekeeping from me.

Was told over the phone and at the front that insurance would cover the lenses. Spent over an hour getting an exam and picking out a pair of glasses only to be told when checking out that there was a $40 copay for "materials". Again, was told multiple times by multiple people very explicitly there was no copay on the lenses. Wasted a day to walk out with no glasses because it's cheaper to get a pair out of pocket online than it is to pay their copay AFTER insurance. They also call and texted me about a dozen times (not exaggerating) to confirm I'd be there and talking about cancellation fees. Felt like harassment at a certain point when I'd assured them I would be at the appointment I set.
