Dr. Thompson is outstanding. His attention to detail is excellent, and his staff is warm and welcoming. He took the time to answer all of our questions with patience and clarity, and he was thorough with me, my husband, and my daughter. The office is very clean and comfortable, and you can immediately tell that they care about creating a positive experience for every patient. What stood out the most is that it doesn't feel like a routine eye appointment. It feels like personalized care from a doctor who genuinely cares about your family's needs. He helped me complete my state driver's license vision form, assisted with my daughter's school forms, and even guided my husband on how to properly wear his contact lenses. Our appointment was scheduled for 1, and we were seen right on time. After this visit, I can confidently say we won't be going anywhere else for eye care. This is where my family and I will continue to come from now on.

This was our first time visiting this office and it was amazing! They took care of us from beginning to end and were very patient with my son whom got contacts for the first time! They have the best service, the best people, and best prices! Very friendly and welcoming. The doctor was amazing, he explained everything step by step and provided great patient care.

Dr Thompson and his assistant Callie were outstanding. I could not have asked for a better experience. Friendly, professional, efficient, and very thorough. I highly recommend this establishment for your eye care needs!

I called Family Eye Care @ the Costco on Bardstown Rd. during my Optometrist search and after speaking with Callie's helpful, cheerful, self and seeing the 5 star reviews on Dr Thompson, I made the appt. Tae & Callie gave me a friendly greeting upon arrival. Paperwork was quick and easy. The exam with Dr. Thompson went very well. I appreciate how informative he was as he conducted the exam. He patiently answered all my questions: everything from the different types of cataracts to the importance of getting measurenents in person vs. online. He took the time to show me the pictures if my eyes as he explained everything. Will be returning to this doc for an annual contact exam in a few mos. Highly recommend!

it was my first time coming here and they were the sweetest people. Very welcoming. I missed her name but the lady in front desk is amazing :) They make everything quick and easy !!

My 1st visit was amazing, the ladies were very friendly and welcoming and the Doctor was very knowledgeable and and throughly explained everything to me making it easy for me to understand. My appt was scheduled the next day AND they accept walk-ins. Very satisfied, found my new Optometrist!

Dr. Doug was wonderful. The whole staff is warm and welcoming. Very easy to get scheduled and they even had same day appointments so I was able to get additional family members done while I shopped. By far the best optometrist we have used in the Kentuckiana area!!!!
