Love this place. They have been always good to me.

Recently had my 1st appt at KYEyecare, Visiting was great! I loved the place and the staff! However, I was told my glasses would be ready in 7-10 business days. I had to change my phone number and called to check on my glasses, and told the lady I just got a new phone number, and she somewhat rudely informed me that I will be called when my glasses are ready, kind of in the tone of voice that sounds like "so don't bother us by calling back. It is now going on 14 business days, and still no glasses. I am unlikely to ever return!

The kiosk was a bit of a challenge for older folks but your office staff was quick to help. All staff was amazing and kind and caring. Silva was kind and patient. Super friendly and sweet! Dr Hurt was professional and knowledgeable. He took time to explain everything and gave me his opinion on following through for my issue. I would recommend this practice to everyone! The wait was minimal!

Called today after coming by twice last week (note on door closed for 10days ) & sent inquiry for my new vision screen form for my license 3+ week ago & never got a response I was told on phone today 25$ and could take 30days . In September when I was in told me to just call & "they would give me the form". My license is due in 2-3 weeks so the timing of 3o days will not work. And 25$ for something that could have been provided when I was IN office but they didn't. I would like to talk with management. Poor patient service situation.

Staff was friendly. I was greeted as I came in (not like last year's reception). Nicole was efficient, careful and personable. Dr. Hurt is always attentive, SO skilled and I left feeling that my eyes were examined well and accurate results were shared with me. Amy, in the glasses' store, was very gracious and helpful without being pushy to buy at this moment. Greatly appreciated. So, I will buy shortly.

I would like to first start off by saying that Dr. Hurt and Jamal in Optical are AMAZING! I felt really taken care of and both answered any question I had. Even talking with the scheduler on the phone was a pleasant experience! She was super nice and made sure my insurance was up to date. BUT, this was my first time at KY Eye Care and sadly this experience was sullied by the unnamed tech who took my prescription, got my info, and dilated me. She didn't bother to introduce herself or else I would name drop, but she has blonde hair, glasses, and the WORST attitude I have ever come across. I have never been treated like less than a human being. She was rude and not personable at all. Maybe she was having a bad day (she was cussing when the computer was acting up), but still...like customer service is part of the gig, girl. I find this to be a big deal because she spends just as much time with the patient as the OD, and she did not represent KEC in a positive light. Thanks!

Dealing with this office for the last ten years has been a hassle. The contacts department has never ordered my husband's contacts in a timely manner. Two previous times they never ordered his contacts and once they sent his contacts to the wrong office. We normally have to call multiple times for them to place the order because they forgot. When they do finally order contacts they do not come in a timely manner. Last year, I tried ordering contacts and was put down by a rude employee. He questioned my decision, tried to talk me out of it and I saw him roll his eyes multiple times. After my order he told me they would be in a couple of weeks. Six weeks later I was still waiting. So we started asking for our glasses and contacts prescriptions to go so we could go to someplace that orders what we need in less than a week. We used to love one of the doctors there but last year he said something to us that was rude and we chose not to see him again. This year it was more of the same. When we asked for both contact and glasses prescriptions they only gave us our glasses prescriptions. After calling the them they told us we had to specifically ask for contact prescriptions they don't hand them out. Ok. We tell them we need the contact prescription faxed over to the optical store. Beware, yes you have to ask for your contact prescription they won't hand it to you. They said they would immediately fax it over and they didn't. After 45 minutes, I called asking where the prescription was the woman said she never was asked. I told her we had been waiting for over 45 minutes. She sends it over and it was the glasses prescription not the contact prescription. Know that you need to ask multiple times for your contact prescription or you will receive just the glasses one. They do not bother to distinguish between the two. I called back and I tried to be nice even apologizing to this lady saying we should have emphasized contacts "again." Our first request wasn't good enough. Another person picks up the phone saying he will get it out right away. Another fifteen minutes goes by. It has now been over an hour since our very first phone call. I call again and the "nice" lady tries to tell me that I'm wrong in that I haven't been waiting for an hour and I've only waited fifteen minutes because apparently the first phone call didn't count. This is clearly the correct thing to say to a customer who's waited over an hour for KY eye care's employees to do their job. We have known multiple people who worked in this office and they have all left. Today was the last straw in dealing with their incompetence. The first request should have been acknowledged and customers shouldn't have to go out of their way to get both their glasses and contact prescriptions.

Loved the whole experience from start to finish! Called and left a message for an appointment and they called back within 45 minutes. Scheduled my appointment and received confirmation along with the link to upload my documents ahead of time. Arrived on the day of my appointment waited 5 mins and was called back. Everyone was nice, courteous, and prompt. I will absolutely be using them for all my vision needs!
