Korrect Optical

I now understand that my experience is not a typical one. But it is just so unusual, I had to document it. I scheduled an appointment there for a specific purpose and requested that the lens be placed in frames I currently own. Great eye doctor and exam process. But it is all downhill after the exam. No, I had to purchase frames (which I like very much), but during the process, the gentleman (loose use of the term) abruptly announced that it was his lunch time and he just got up and left. When something like this happens to me I never know if I should attribute it to age, gender, or racial discrimination (or a combination). In any event, a pleasant young lady assisted me with the rest of the process. Now I learn that the specific exam I was requesting was not even conducted. I will let you know if they return my call, and we can clarify the misunderstanding. Moving on.

An absolutely amazing staff and terrific selection of eyewear. The staff is friendly, funny and knowledgeable. And very honest. They will tell you if something is not flattering. But in a nice way.

Tony as always was great.I had several pair re done with new lenses and all went perfectly. Korect Optical is very user friendly.

Tony is an absolute miracle worker. If you need anything glasses related (adjustments/problem solving/anything) go to K.O. and see Tony. First time fix for all my issues...an absolute GENIUS! I'll be going to see Tony for all my glasses needs from here on out. Thank you!

Always a great selection along with phenomenal personal attention

I have been going to Korrect Optical for 20 yrs. Dr. Sommers is thorough and detailed with an easy personality. I have never had a problem getting appt dates/times needed. Tony is excellent assisting me with both frames and lenses that not only suit my needs, but help me to look my best.

There is a gross neglagance within the lab that is bewildering to me. The only saving grace with this company is that the customer service managers are extremely helpful and polite and truely want to make things right. That is their job. On the lab side of things there is an obvious defect in personnel competence. I have been trying to get a good set of glasses since December 2018 for my distance glasses and since June last year for my safety glasses. To be fair my safety glasses started off with the wrong prescription. And in January that continued to be the problem because of the VA. Once the prescription was worked out there was a matter once of the lab using the older prescription. The other 6-7 times between both pairs it was a matter of the wrong cut in the lenses or scratches on the lenses or bent frames. THE faults honestly are too many to list...this last set of "safety glasses" (4th pair)came to me completely "fubar" I'll let the pictures do the talking. I waited a month to get this last set. Im promised I will have a good set by this Friday inspected by the lab manager (again). It's funny that was the only way I could get a good pair of distance glasses too. After the first (actually 3rd) and the second pair (actually 4th) of thoes were supposed to be inspected every step by the supervisor. The VA Veterans deserve much better than this. I can only imagine the amount of remakes this lab has to do on a daily basis. A favorite quote I've told my Airmen, "if you can't find time to do it RIGHT the first time, how will you find the time to do it RIGHT the second time?" I've seen reviews by employees that complain about working for this company. It needs to be fixed within. Starting with better training and more pride in making a good product. Get to work managers.
