Louisville Retina - Dr. Anupa Mandava

Dr. Mandava and her team have treated me throughout a complex eye issue (synechiae and iritis) over the last two months. I have never had more thorough or compassionate medical care in my life. Dr. Mandava is truly a gift to the medical field. She has helped me through such a challenging and anxiety-provoking experience, and she's been incredibly thoughtful, supportive, and generous. I didn't expect an experience with an eye doctor to be life-changing, but working with this team has given me a refreshing outlook on kindness and compassion. I've shared my experience with friends, and friends who've worked with Dr. Mandava described their experience as "life-saving" and "amazing." I cannot recommend them enough!

Dr. Mandava has given me and my elderly aunt excellent care. She takes her time to fully explain to me the situation and design a custom care plan to keep my eyes in check. I was a licensed optician for several years and I know good docs from bad ones. I am grateful for Dr. Mandava and care we receive from her and her entire staff Highly recommend

Had a wonderful experience. During my experience Dr. Mandava was very thorough and answered all my questions. After a short time in her office you can really tell just how much she cares about her patients. She made sure I understood all of her policies as well as the procedures and tests she would be administering. She is hands down the best retina specialist I've been treated by.

I had a huge floater as a result of Dr Black's Eye Associates laser removal of membrane behind cataract lens. They told me "it's large, it will sink down and go away" ........it was so big it impaired my vision. Dr Black's Eye Associates told me to come back in 6 months....... I went to Louisville Retina. Dr Mandava removed the floater!!!! She explained in detail what and how She would take care of this. She even called me the day before my surgery to make sure I was OK with everything!!!! The surgery went well and NO MORE FLOATER!!!! Dr Mandava is very thorough and makes sure you are comfortable with everything she is doing! The BEST eye care I've ever experienced in my 70 years!!!!!! Thank You Dr Mandava!!!!!!!

I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Mandava! I think she is the best doctor on the planet! If I could give her more stars I would. Super nice, extreamly knowledgeable and caring. She really cares about her patients and there well being. And she works with your schedule. Not the other way around.
