I have gotten my glasses through the VA Optical for 5 years now & have always had exceptional service & quality glasses made by PDS Optical. My prescription is rather difficult due to glaucoma, double vision, progressive bifocals, transition & my latest pair has anti-glare for nighttime driving which has helped tremendously. PDS Optical quality is second to none & the cost through the VA is about 1/3 of other optical shops. To all my fellow veterans, I highly recommend using your VA benefits to the fullest, as you won't regret it.

Vets, now hear this. Please consider using PDS Optical for your eyewear needs. It can be as simple as using the new prescription that you just received from the VA. Then you take it to the PDS optical shop to get it filled. I almost didn't see the PDS shop next to my VA optical offices. But I did and I am so happy and completely satisfied with the simplicity, accuracy and speed at which I got my new glasses!

Getting my glasses at the VA was quite simple and effortless After visiting the optical dept, you simple go over to the eye glass area, sign in and the go in to select the frames you want. Your get a quick PD measurement and there were plenty of frames to choose from. From basic to designer type frames. Plenty to choose from.

The VA Eye care clinic in Goose Creek is convenient and they are very caring and knowledgeable. They even went the extra mile for me when I went to the wrong location. They waited until I got there. Dr. Chessmen made sure I had all the necessary requirements to see, read and bear the sun in my pair of glasses. They have a nice selection also!

They are precisely ground so the 3-part progressions from distance to computer screen to reading are perfectly aligned for me, a first! Well done, PDS! You are an outstanding source for VA glasses!
