The entire staff at River City Retina are awesome! They're friendly, helpful, & extremely accommodating. Hunter was the technician who prepped me for the doctor. He was a delight! He was knowledgeable & efficient & the conversation we had actually made it fun! Dr. Neamtu was amazing, also. He didn't rush the appointment & took the time to ask about my family history as it relates to eye diseases & gave me plenty of time to ask him questions. Simply a fantastic experience! I definitely feel like I'm in good hands with this practice! Thank you for what you do!

Plan to be there a minimum of 2 hours. Dr Douglas is wonderful but the wait times are ridiculous. Staff aren't very good at updating you on what's going on and why there are such long waits either.

After my doctor left the practice I was seen by Dr. Neamtu from that point on. I am very happy with Dr. Neamtu and the entire staff. They do their best to make sure you are well informed with steps during the exam and explaining anything that you need clarified.
While my previous doctor had a reputation by some, to be a bit terse in his patient interactions. (I never had a problem, but that was just me.) Dr. Neamtu makes sure that you understand your conditions. He takes time to go over any questions you may have, as well as make suggestions to help yourself over time. Because of my vision condition, he makes sure to inform my primary care professional of any changes that happen to me. He wants all involved to be informed for better overall health care of his patients.
In the end, I highly suggest Dr. Neamtu, and the staff of River City Retina Consultants. Their level of professionalism and care make for happy visits and a feeling of comfort during your exam.
