Upon my arrival, the staff greeted me with the smile. In was very, I'm happy to help in any way they could. It's very informative, just an overall great experience. That's where I'm going to be going from now on to get my glasses and ah, but I would highly recommend it for anyone else. They were understaffed, but they still accomplished their mission perfectly wonderful experience.

I went to the Springhurst location for the first time. It took me 45 minutes after my appointment just to get back. Once I was taken back, the staff was very friendly and things moved along quickly but I was very disappointed in the wait time. The incorrect insurance was also processed. I spent the entire next day trying to call them to have this corrected. I called at 9 am and the lady who answered the phone asked me to call back at 11:30 when the insurance person would be in. I called back at that time and was put on hold for a very long time and then disconnected. I never reached them that day after calling literally 6 times and being put on hold. Someone that didn't work in the office answered and said that she would leave them a message and they would call me back. I never received a call back but I did finally reach them the next day when I called myself and they claim that they corrected the insurance.

FRONT STAFF WAS VERY INCOMPETENT.
After my eye exam, the doctor told me I had one person ahead of me before I can pick out glasses.
22 minutes later, And 4 customers later (2 of them just walked in) I got up and asked when will I be seen? I was told next. With an attitude. A young lady with colored hair told me that the VA only paid for exams when I know they paid for my glasses last year.
So I went back to the receptionist desk and asked the young lady did she call community care to get the approval. she said no, she just talked to her manager.( Now CC is closed and she can't talk to anyone) Which I think she did on purpose because I overheard her tell her Co-worker she doesn't like VA paperwork) But when I first arrived, and we had the exact same problem that I had last year, she said she was going to call, but I guess she didn't feel like it. If that's the way, they treat their veterans, or any customer, I will not be returning!!!! INCOMPETENT AND LAZY

I've been using this location for several years for exams, and it's always been a smooth experience. They've always gotten us in pretty much on time have gotten everything completed in a very reasonable amount of time.
Prices for the glasses I generally get are largely in line with what I can get online when there are promos running. I hadn't purchased glasses from Visionworks for several years because they stopped carrying Oakleys, but they're now available again. Delivery times are longer than I expected vs a location I used to go to, but it was a busy time of year and I think this was just how long things were taking from their facilities. They took longer to arrive than originally promised, but the manager I talked to went beyond what I wanted to make it right.
I plan to continue using this location going forward.

Waited over 1 hours and 30 minutes to be seen with a scheduled appointment. We arrived 10 minutes early and checked in immediately. Several patients were pushed ahead of us, even after the initial examination. Appointment was at 5:30, I watched the entire staff leave one at a time all while we sat and waited. Terrible customer service and experience. Been a long time customer and will absolutely not be back. Place went downhill

Went to pick up my glasses and I assume due to a miscommunication issue the person that helped me seemed to have a bad attitude towards our encounter. As the visit continued they seemed to get more aggravated with even helping me. Didn't seem like they were a good fit as a customer service representative. I had a second pair I needed lens for but due to the person's attitude I decided it was best to leave the store and not continue to do business with the individual. Just a poor visit overall

The Dr and associates were excellent. However, the pricing for contacts and glasses is a rip off. We had contacts quoted with insurance and I can buy the exact same contacts down the street for a cheaper price without insurance. They seem to take advantage of the insurance pricing and pretend it's a discount. I did not buy my glasses or contacts from Visionworks.

I scheduled an appointment for 11:00 am Tuesday Jan. 13 2026. It is 12:01 and still sitting here waiting for my eye exam. They obviously overbook and make you wait. Skip this place if you value your time. Writing this out of sheer boredom, will update with final time out of here for just a basic eye exam, no shopping. Out at 12:22. Staff is pleasant.
