Family Eye Site

I scheduled my appointment a month ago. I walked in at my designated time 12/2/25 only to be told I was not in the system. Obviously I was upset! A second woman sitting behind the main receptionist was able to get me in at roughly the same time. My initial exam to prepare for the doctor was amiable but tense on the assistant's part. This I assumed was from an apparent discussion with the woman who "fit me in". I was then escorted to the doctor's room and waited briefly for him to arrive. The visit with Dr. French was informational. He then escorted me back to the assistant. I was told to look at all the frames while waiting to be helped. The woman who "fit me in" was the one who assisted with the glasses selection. I told herframed essential. frames I wanted to use as they were completely frameless. She had me put them on and measured my eyes, dotting the lenses. She DID NOT "sell" me on any of the uncharted! Basically said, "What do you want" and offered absolutely NO ADDITIONAL HELP OR INFORMATION! She took the paperwork to the computer, entered the information, and told me to come and sign the paperwork. She discussed NONE of the charges so I walked out totally confused and angry. It was a VERY UNPLEASANT experience! The killer is that NONE OF THIS WAS MY FAULT! The staff reacted as if it were! To me that was completely UNPROFESSIONAL! It's so difficult to find competent help, people who one can feel confident working with and trust!

Absolutely love the family eyesite. Mariah and Jessica are top notch and always give me great customer service. I look forward to my appointments every year. I highly recommend.

Told my wife that she had to pay the full charge up front for her doctor's visit. They said that they have a hard time collecting money from the insurance company. So my wife paid come to find out after my wife paid. They charged the insurance company anyway and got double the money. Total scam. These people are rip-offs

Dr. French was recommended to us. They scheduled us immediately when I told them my husband had something stuck in his eye. They were very friendly, efficient, and up-front about the costs. We did not end up needing to go in, and when I called to cancel they were understanding and polite. I've read through these reviews just in case we do need to come in the future (because my husband's line of work does cause him frequent eye irritation), and I must say that it seems the negative reviews are from people who did not understand their own insurance policies. So I just wanted to give a five star for our brief, yet very positive experience to level out their ratings because this business does not seem to deserve the negative reviews they have received from people who do not understand how insurance works. I will give this place a call as soon as my husband gets something in his eye, rather than dealing with it ourselves for days while trying to go to work. Also, next time I need glasses or contacts I will most likely go here as their responses to negative feedback show me they probably have good prices, and the positive reviews far outway the random complaints regarding insurance coverage. Lastly, I assume the negative reviews regarding the staff's manners were a matter of faulty perspective, as again, the staff was very friendly to us even upon cancellation, to the point where I cannot imagine someone here treating anyone poorly.

well I waited 2 months , then this little rain snow I mean little, the want me to wait 3 more months . why not bump everyone one day instead 3 more months.

Wow, oh WOW! GREATEST optometrist I've ever been to. Extraordinary staff, Dr French is thorough and straight to the point. The lady who helped me with my glasses, was honest and VERY helpful. "These look good on you. These are not beneficial to the contour of your face." Straight up pricing. She found me some frames I LOVE and they were in the price range, where my insurance would cover them. I can't say enough great things about this place. Thank you! Thank you! THANK YOU!!!

Had to call 3 times for them to tell me something they said they tried calling over the first day of my exam. Tey didn't bother telling me until 2 weeks after the fact that my insurance doesn't cover new glasses until next year. During my appointment they looked as if they themselves didn't know what to do necessarily either as this was my first time being here. Only good thing about my trip here was barely any wait.... But who would wanna go here when the receptionist people act like they don't know what they're doing and the actual doctor himself was EHHHHHH to me. I've had better experience from Walmart optometry! I'd rate 0 if possible.
