If you are actually needing glasses, avoid this place in Newport The one star is for the exam process and the Dr.'s which are always great. But that's where the service stops. I have been using this location for years for annual exams/glasses, but the last 3 have been terrible experiences. I don't usually write reviews, but maybe it will save someone a headache . 1) 2 years ago, they called me to pick up prescription sunglasses and prescription regular glasses. Both frames were broke. The lenses fell out on the first pair and the other was cracked as well after closely examining and had to be reordered. 2) Last year, I ordered tinted prescription lenses for the sunglasses and they tinted the regular prescription glasses and asked me if I still wanted them. Another two week wait again beyond expectation. 3) My appointment this year was December 16th with an expected delivery on December 30th. When the dates passed for expected delivery, I was told they didn't call me so they are not ready yet and gave me a new expected date. The next call, they said the lenses were delivered and the frames didn't come in. Gave me a new expected date, said they would try to find the frames at another local location and would make sure they followed up, but same thing, date passed, no call, no communication, and again another expected date. They were supposed to be in again yesterday, so called again today and told the lenses (was the frames missing) were lost in shipping and it would be another week & 1/2 because the lenses were lost. I asked for a credit back to my credit card so I could order them somewhere else, and they told me they couldn't do it because the manager was out sick and no one there was authorized.

The MyEyeDr experience has been second to none. The staff are so polite, attentive, friendly and customer service driven and focused. I look forward to going to the appointments. If you are in need of eye care they will take care of you. A happy customer

Tre and Olivia were great in helping me choose the right glasses for me. They listened to all my concerns and answered all my questions. Was a pleasure to work with them.

My doctor was wonderful! However, I was told a week for contact lenses and two weeks for glasses. First date given for delivery was 11/3 now it's 11/12. My husband and son went to another location several days after my appointment and received their glasses last week. My appointment was 10/18. They offered contacts to get me through that are not even my prescription. The customer service is lacking since I have to call to get an update. If there is a delay, they should contact me to let me know.

Dr. Bloor was simply amazing. His energy and chair side manor is refreshing. Wish I was local I wouldn't have a problem with a yearly visit. Then Kayla in the front worked my best deal and working on getting my contacts and glasses shipped to my home state. Thanks for working with this out of town old man that can't see

Dr. Bloor was friendly & informative. Kayla was wonderful with helping me pick a bundle deal that was cost-effective & provided everything I needed! The ladies at the desk were friendly & helpful as well. They got me in & out in about an hour and 20 minutes for everything. :) I will be back, thank you to the staff!

The staff was wondering and very helpful specially (Olivia) . She when out of her way to check on my insurance . The Doctor was very professional , thorough. . I would recommend the office to potential clients

Want to give a shoutout to the staff here: so kind and helpful! We had a last minute emergency and needed help with getting contacts and they were able to process our prescription so fast and helpfully. They're the best!
