I went in with a problem with my eye after my optometrist was closed. They were really nice and the doctor was great. She did a really in depth exam. I would highly recommend them!!

Just needed a simple replacement frames They ordered and received them but they ordered the wrong Size and wouldn't try to remedy that. Wanted me to send in my old lenses to get them cut down, but I explained to them even before ordering that I needed the broken pair of glasses to drive for work. After Explaining that to Gina She just sat there on the phone quietly did not offer any solution, but I asked if I had a spare pair of glasses like, why would I be trying to replace a pair of glasses if I already had an extra pair? Crazy

I wouldn't recommend this place . Saw them one time only . Told the Doctor that I had a history of high pressure in my eyes ( glaucoma) . I'd previously had a procedure done with laser to relive high pressure in one eye, but insurance had changed & I could no longer see that Dr. She said my pressures were fine. Went to pick out frames & was told my insurance only covered the office visit, not glasses or frames, had to go to another place. About a month later I started having worst migraines I've ever experienced, couldn't keep my eyes open, woke up and I was totally blind in my right eye. Went to local ER then sent to Pikeville Hospital where I was immediately treated for glaucoma and it took months to get sight back. Doctors said it was a miracle that I regained any sight at all. So no! I do not recommend this doctor at all!!!

UPDATE: Dr Rhoton is the best eye doctor ever. She diagnosed my wife with Horner's syndrome and she may have saved her life. How on earth an eye doctor found lung cancer is a mystery to me. But Dr Rhoton did just that. Found it early so we're hopeful. Update, my wife is now cancer free thanks to Dr Rhoton! She had the tumor removed and is doing great!

This doctor is a cut above other eye doctors that I have been to see..she really takes her time and uses her knowledge to help her patients...

I would recommend Family Eye Care Professionals to anyone that needs good eye care and professional glasses or any materials. Their Drs. And Staff are very knowledgeable. Even when accidents like a broken arm on your glasses or a screw comes loose, or you have an eye emergency they are there to help. 10/10 recommend

All the girls are so friendly. Lisa went out of her way to get me frames I saw on facebook. They are perfect and I absolutely love them. She adjusted them perfectly and sometimes I have to check to make sure I have them on because they are so comfortable. Prestonsburg is a little farther to drive, but so worth it. I highly recommend this office.
