This place is a joke. They claim to accept blue cross and blue shield insurance, but this location only accepts it if the ford worker is salary? So we had to pay 120 dollars out of pocket because my wife needed the exam done asap to renew her license. She has never been dilated before and they recommended doing it, so she did. Nobody thought to warn her "hey your eyes are gonna be really blurry, is there anyone that will be driving you" or nothing. She's 22 weeks pregnant and not one freaking person warned her or checked to make sure she was safe to drive they just had her pay and out the door, meanwhile she was just thinking it's normal. They never told her her prescription so she had to call back up there so they would send it to her. I get home from work and she tells me all this, so I call and speak to the manager and she basically blames my wife and says there's no way she wasn't warned her eyes would be blurry afterwards and that she just must not have understood? And said there's nothing written in stone about it and some people are okay with driving while dilated? Keep in mind she left work to go to the appointment at 10 am and was driving back to work afterwards. AND 22 WEEKS PREGNANT!

Very friendly staff, great doctor. They were good enough to point me to frames that would be satisfied by my allowance from insurance so I wouldn't pay out of pocket. They did tell me that I could upgrade to a better lens for a small under $10 charge. I accepted that, paid and was told the glasses would be ready in about 2 weeks.

Always tries to up-sell me on things I don't want and always get a bill a couple months after my appointment despite paying in full at the time of service. Last time I clearly stated that I didn't want anything my insurance wouldn't cover and they still sent me another bill later. They did this with everyone else in my household too. I'm disputing the charges. They've just lost 5 customers as we're trying one of the other eye docs around town.

1 Star -- Extremely Disappointed After Years of Loyalty I've been going to Clarkson's Eye Care for four years now and have always scheduled my annual eye exams for myself and my son on the same day. We book them a year in advance to keep things simple. Unfortunately, this year everything fell apart. Our appointments -- which had been on the books for a year -- were cancelled without anyone notifying me. No call, no email, no text alert. I only found out when I tried to confirm the times. I was told the doctor we normally see no longer works there. That's understandable, but the lack of communication is not. Because of that, they no longer had two time slots together, meaning we had to make two separate trips instead of one. My son had his appointment last week. Mine was scheduled for today at 4:40pm. Due to the traffic nightmare as everyone who lives or works in Shep deals with and knows about, a drive that normally takes 10 minutes took me 35. I walked in at 4:54 -- fourteen minutes late -- and was told the doctor would not see me. My annual exam takes about 10 minutes, but they still refused. After four years of coming here, this experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing. I've canceled next year's appointments and will be taking my business to another eye care provider moving forward.

They took good care of me. Dr answered all my questions. Love the staff. Very friendly.

Buy one get one free should be of equal quality. Second is $99.00 frames and single lens. I purchased $241.00 frames with progressive lens. Second pair not even close. Read the fine print second pair free is very misleading.

Fast, friendly service. I have been here for my 2 sons and myself several times. I've never had a problem. They get us in and out fast after doing a thorough test.
