Louisiana Eye & Laser Center

I always have a great visit at Alexandria Eye and Laser. All of the employees there are always extremely nice with great attitudes. Dr. Norton and his technicians treat me exceptionally well. Thanks everyone for making my appointments enjoyable.

Little wait time. Staff organized and worked together. Everyone was very friendly . The atmosphere was welcoming and everyone spoke as I passed through. The exam room was clean . During my exam I was informed beforehand on what he was gonna do .Great friendly informative ophthalmologist .

Very polite and helpful. I am not elderly nor handicapped but I witnessed the staff being extra helpful and assistive to these people. I had a great experience. Very knowledgeable regarding my eye care provided eye care plan with me.

Staff is nice & the place is clean but that's about all that's good. Multiple times we have to wait almost 3 hours from our appointment time until we are finished! The wait is horrible with multiple stops from the beginning until you see the doctor. Y'all overbook way to many people and are slow! Definitely finding another place.

I think this was the best experience I could have had while having surgery of any kind. The staff, including Dr. Patrick, was warm, funny, kind, knowledgeable about the procedure and answered all my questions with patience and understanding. Follow-up has been phenomenal.

I made an appointment for both my niece and I to get our annual eye exams. We were in the building a total of over four hours. It took forever to be seen by the doctor. The assistant spent more time checking our eyes than the actual doctor. I can say the doctor we saw was very nice and charming, but she did not give thorough eye exams to either me or my niece. We ended up going to Walmart to fill my niece's prescription because we refused waiting any longer at eye & laser center. After three different visits we finally were able to get her a pair of eyeglasses that was correct the prescription, Thanks to the optometrist at Walmart for being diligent and thorough in his exam with her. The prescription the doctor gave her from eye and laser center was totally wrong and did not take into account that my niece has an issue with the prism in one of her eyes. (Probably because the doctor did not perform a thorough eye exam.) Needless to say, it was a fiasco from start to finish and I will never go to Alexandria eye and laser center again unless I absolutely have to.

I have been seeing Dr Reish for years. I recently saw Michelle Boyer. She's very thorough takes the time to explain or answer questions and I just really liked her. NOW the reason for the two star review. I left paper work a MONTH ago that had to be filled out for me to get patient assistance in getting xiidra. With my ins it will cost $367. I have called 4 times to ck on the paper work, left 4 messages (not in the same week) and no one has called me back. It is so hard to reach someone at the desk because of the answering system. You would think they would be more courteous and concerned.

Kiosk check in didn't work properly. After 45 minutes I went to front desk and inquired if I was checked in. Then I was asked when I had arrived, if I had just arrived! Informed that we had arrived 5-10 minutes before appointment time. Front desk notified back and then it was another 30-40 minutes before being called back.
