If you are looking for somewhere to get an eye exam and glasses I highly encourage you to make an appointment here! They were courteous, prompt, efficient and very helpful. For the first time in YEARS my prescription was correct and I haven't had any trouble adjusting to or using my new glasses.

Hate it it here. The receptionist here is rude and horrible!!!! They made me come all the way up here just to tell me my insurance wasn't good enough for them. They've pushed my appointment back a couple of times and I've missed appointments due me and my children health problems and finically issues. They aren't understanding at all. It's more so the receptionist the reason I wouldn't recommend ANY ONE to come here. I was born and raised in Bastrop Louisiana and this man has been my doctors since 7th grade. I'm a 28 year old grad student and wouldn't dare spend my money here bc of the receptionist. Dr. Russell if you do not get new Caring, most of all RESPECTFUL NEW receptionist your are going to loose more patients that's been with you over ten years like u have. I'm literally never coming back because of your receptionist. Dr. Russell Receptionist ran me off..
