This morning, upon calling to schedule a Friday appointment, I was informed by the receptionist that Dr. Patin had dropped me as a patient. When I inquired about the reason, the receptionist cited "no show appointments". I contend that I have never been a "no show," but have called to cancel on occasions due to illness affecting myself or my child. I requested clarification on the specific dates and was told the termination was based on two missed appointments: one in November 2024 and another in June 2022. I find it highly unreasonable and unprofessional to be dismissed as a patient due to two instances of missed appointments that occurred over two years apart, especially after being an ESTABLISHED PATIENT SINCE 2008. I have been a loyal patient of this practice for OVER A DECADE, have generated significant revenue for the clinic, and have referred numerous family members and friends. Furthermore, I was not notified of this decision and only became aware of my dismissal when I contacted the office to schedule a new appointment. This lack of communication demonstrates a significant deficiency in patient care and compassion. Given this experience, I find myself in agreement with the decision to terminate the patient-physician relationship, as I no longer wish to support a physician that handles patient dismissals in this manner or handles patients that may have life to happen to them and the physician show such a lack of understanding, consideration, or compassion. Patients are the fundamental basis for any medical practice's existence, and the existence of the physician's role is predicated on the patients they serve. DO BETTER, DR. PATIN!

Great experience and very nice place. Doctor was very good and honest. I fully expected any eye place I went to would try to sell me glasses and say I needed them no matter what my tests showed. But the doctor here honestly stated that I do not need prescription glasses and sent me on my way happy to keep using readers when I need them.

My glasses have been made by EyeMax exclusively for almost 20 years now. I appreciate the input from all the professional technicians -- Emily, Andrea, and Susan. I'm petite and finding glasses that don't look ridiculous is a challenge. My most recent prescription is for progressive lenses and I'm happy to report that there were no issues getting used to the change. Much appreciated everyone!

I went to the Eye Medical Center on Corporate Blvd. a few months ago for my regular checkup and was told I needed to get a stronger prescription. This had happened before and I received new lenses in the same frame. The optician took my order and said I would have to leave my glasses for 2 or 3 weeks while they made new lenses. In the past, they ordered new lenses and when they came in, the optician put them in my frames in 5 minutes. I appealed their decision to the manager. She would not allow it. I then called the corporate office on Hennessy and was told "no problem, we will order your lenses and when they come in we'll put them in for you". The people at The Hennessy office were extremely helpful. About a month ago, I decided I might want to try contact lenses, which I have never worn. I was sent to the office in Town Center and when I arrived I was asked what type of lenses did I want. Since I know nothing about contact lenses and had never worn them, I had no idea what I needed. The person helping me seemed very frustrated and told me I only had 20 minutes so I needed to make a decision quickly. She then found some lenses that were supposedly my prescription and put them in my eyes. She told me she didn't have time to watch me remove them and then put them in my eyes. She said my wife could help me because she wears contact lenses. I had trouble removing one of the lenses after wearing them all day. I didn't see well at all and one eye was very uncomfortable. The next morning, I tried to put the lenses in my eyes and never could get them in properly. I called the corporate office on Hennessy again and was told that I should go back to see the doctor at Town Center. Today, I went in for my visit with the doctor and the person helping with contact lenses. I waited for over half an hour after my appointment time and was not seen or acknowledged that I was there, other than the receptionist telling me to just have a seat. The doctor and the assistant passed by me over 10 times and didn't say a word to me. I will never go back to the Town Center Eye Medical Center. I will be switching doctors. I do not recommend that location

Run away!!!!! Over priced and does not honor repairs. I call maui jim and they will repair for free. As to lens, bringing to another local business that honors lens repair policy.paid $600+ and u would think they would self invest.. LOST all my family's business!!! And should loose yours.

Dr. Abbott was extremely courteous, efficient and professional! Since my initial visit, all five members of my family are patients of his. 100% would recommend to anyone !!!!!!

I've been seeing Dr. Abbott for 3 years now. There is never a wait. I decided to write this review because I was truly impressed by the assistants during my appointment today. Hannah was extremely friendly and explained every step of the exam before she proceeded. The lady at the front desk was also friendly and kind.
