I've been going to Dr Thai at the Baton Rouge location of Premier Eyecare and Optical for five years now, and it's always been a pleasant experience from start to finish. The front desk staff, assistants, and Dr Thai himself go out of their way to make you feel welcome and informed, and they're always incredibly patient (which was particularly helpful when I was struggling with contact lenses for the first time!) and knowledgeable.
The office itself is always clean and tidy, though the parking can get a little cramped at peak hours. I've never had to wait more than ten minutes in the lobby, and my actual exams are usually prompt and thorough. Highly recommend.

Staff were fast and efficient moving patients from station to station, but completely lacked interpersonal and customer service skills. The experience felt cold and impersonal.
To make matters worse, the final fee was more than double what the front desk originally quoted. Very disappointing.

The service and comfort offered here is way beyond what I expected. Extra attentive staff and the Doctor listened to every concern I had and explained things the way I needed them explained. At the end, a precious young lady helped me choose frames and explained all the expenses and insurance coverages.
New glasses aren't cheap, but the exam is very extensive and I am more than just satisfied or pleased.
I am delighted with the overall experience.
