The staff was super knowledgable. They have a great selection of frames. They were patient with all of my questions and they made suggestions and helped me find what I needed. To make it all better, the turn around was super fast! They had the lenses I needed on hand. I went to 2nd and Charles while I waited and they called me in 30 minutes.

I recently visited Smarter Eyewear in Baton Rouge seeking a repair for my Versace sunglasses, as a missing screw had caused the lens to detach from the frame. Fully expecting to pay a reasonable fee for the repair, I was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional customer service I received. The associate at the front desk examined my sunglasses and, without hesitation, graciously offered to fix them. When I inquired about the cost, she simply responded, "No worries!"--a small but meaningful gesture that truly exemplifies the establishment's commitment to customer satisfaction. Not only was my issue resolved efficiently and professionally, but the entire experience left a lasting impression. It is rare to find such genuine kindness and service in today's fast-paced world, and I deeply appreciate their generosity. Smarter Eyewear has certainly earned my trust and future business.

Excellent customer service. I bought a pair of eyeglasses almost two years ago and they were very helpful then. And today I brought it in because one of the screws came off and lens came off. Erica fixed and thoroughly cleaned the glasses and made them look new. They have a huge variety of frames.

We are traveling and decided to visit Smarter Eyewear for a quick glasses adjustment. We were helped immediately, no questions asked. Very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff. 100% recommend!

I need lenses in my safety RX frames and Smarter Eyewear was able to install lenses for me in no time. Of course everyone's rx is different so let them know your Rx to see if you could get them Rx lenses installed the same day. I'd definitely stop by for lenses.

I visited this place for an emergency repair because a screw on the leg of my glasses was coming loose. The owners were very kind and immediately got to work on the issue. After just a few minutes, they handed my glasses back to me in perfect condition. They truly saved the day as I need my glasses in top shape for a conference next week. Excellent service! Recommended!

I am SOLD on Smarter Eyewear. I love my glasses, and I am enormously impressed with the fit and finish of the final product. Simply AMAZING! Here's why: As a full-time eyeglass wearer since age three (3) I am intimately familiar with the successes and failures of eyeglasses. I've had what I thought were good pairs and really bad ones. NOT at Smarter Eyewear. These folks know their way around a face; for fit, for frame choice and with positioning of lenses in the frame for comfort and finish. I've never been so satisfied with my glasses straight out of the tray. Even so, they still tweaked and refined my fit until it was perfect. My glasses look good. They feel good. I get great compliments on them. But most of all I can see really clearly out of them. No junk lenses here. High quality optics ONLY. Thank you Paul and Autumn for the superlative customer service and experience. As I said before, I'M SOLD on Smarter Eyewear and those of you reading this will be too.

Very disappointed. My frames won't hold the lenses. The owner told me I bought cheap glasses (that he sold to me) and has refused to repair or replace them. I have used and loved Smarter Eyewear (particularly Patrick Lopez, manager at the Perkins locations) for years. When the lenses in my clear framed glasses began to bubble, I went into the Perkins location for help. After making me feel silly for asking, the owner reluctantly agreed to let me pay the $10 to mail them to the manufacturer for repair. They came back with fresh new lenses and I thought they were great- until one of the lenses continued to pop out at the worst times (while driving down the interstate, for example). Returned to Perkins location where the owner told me basically that I bought cheap glasses (what? you sold me these glasses; so now they're cheap and defective and it's my fault?) I made several trips back to the store for help. On one trip to the Highland location: the girl working there put them in the machine they use to manipulate the frames (they had done this on multiple occasions) but called the Perkins location for help when she could not fix them, sent me to drive blindly home in the dark, and advised me to bring them again to the Perkins location for help the next day. The owner has the worst, most condescending attitude. He effectively told me my glasses were cheap, it was my fault for utilizing the warranty for the lenses, and I could just buy more glasses from him because he was not going to do anything to help. I was previously a walking billboard for this store because I loved their service, expertise, and selection. Now I will be sure to tell everyone this story.
