Thomas Stuckey is the worse eye surgeon! Absolutely no compassion for his patients! I had cataract surgery and it was a terrible experience! I would not refer anyone to him. Williamson Eye Center is the best!

Dr. Tommy Stuckey performed trifocal lens replacement surgery for me recently. He and I have been discussing this option for 7 years. Unfortunately, contacts could no longer correct my severely poor vision, and glasses made me incredibly frustrated because I had a complete lack of peripheral vision. I happen to be an orthopedic surgeon as well as a commercial pilot and my vision is critical to me. Dr. Stuckey took lots of time with me and explained to me that there can be a lot of drawbacks and complications associated with this procedure. He really helped set my expectations appropriately. What finally made us pull the trigger on the surgery was the fact that if I had some of these complications, we had a backup plan. The backup plan would be to remove the trifocal lenses and place unifocal focal lenses giving me far distance vision. I would likely still have to wear glasses but at least it would give me peripheral vision that I could clearly see at a distance. So, we moved forward with my nondominant eye and it worked perfectly. I have perfect far, intermediate, and near vision without any halos around lights or any other negative side effects. A week later we moved forward with my dominant eye, and I got the same result. Now I am back to working as a surgeon with no glasses or contacts and I can see well. I could not be more thankful! I have known Dr. Stuckey since high school, and we were classmates in medical school. I never doubted his skill, and I knew he would take great care of me. I could not recommend him more highly!

In my opinion, Dr. Stuckey is the worst physician that I have ever had and I would give him a zero or less star rating if I could. I was referred to him and waited a couple of months for the first appointment. He had good reviews so I did wait for cataract surgery. I had poor results from the cataract surgery, including red infected eyes for months. They continued to schedule follow up appointments with the optometrist despite concerns. I requested to see Dr. Stuckey since I was having problems and he was the surgeon. He was quite irritated by my request to see him and by my questions. He stated "it was nothing I did wrong." That comment made me wonder because I did not say that he did anything wrong. Also, when he did see me, he contradicted what I was told by the optometrist and did not read or refer to the chart when I asked about the contradictions. That decreased my confidence even more. I tried to change physicians, but no one would accept me since he had already done the surgery(even doctors within the same office). I reported him to the office manager, but nothing changed. My vision seems to be worse now than it was prior to the surgery. I am still dealing with this HORRIBLE experience.
