Williamson Eye Center of Denham Springs

The first visit I had they were running behind schedule, with my PTSD i got aggravated and was about to leave. The Doctor came in and started talking to me and calmed me down. I thought I was going there for an eye exam to get new glasses. A TOTAL exam is what I got. The Doc told me that I really needed cataract surgery. Well I've had surgery on one eye and am so grateful for the team at Williamson. They went above and beyond in my opinion, I am now 20-20 in one eye and am waiting for surgery on the other. The Williamson eye clinic is a well oiled machine, everything runs smoothly and the team there seem to really care for their patients. Thank you for what you do and in my opinion you are an asset to this community.

Love Williamson Eye Center!! They were so wonderful with my contact/eyeglass fitting. I can see again! For real! I couldn't see with my previous contacts to read my phone without wearing reading glasses. Now I can! I used to have to wearing reading glasses OVER my eyeglasses. Now I don't! Also saw the opthamologist for a blocked tear duct and he was SO WONDERFUL!!! This office is sooo great!! I Cannot say ENOUGH great things about them!!!

I have been very pleased with the care I've received at Williamson Eye Center. I had three surgeries and at every visit required, everyone was organized, professional, respectful, friendly, patient and made me feel at ease and confident of my eye care. Dr. Blake Booth demonstrated much expertise as a surgeon and caregiver. I can easily trust him with my eye care.

Dr. Noreed really made my check-up a breeze. They explained everything clearly, so I felt totally at ease. The whole team, from the nurses to the other staff members, were all super friendly and helpful. It's great to feel so well taken care of during a doctor's visit. Honestly, it was a really positive experience all around.

I took my daughter for an eye exam on 9-18-2025 with an appointment at 1:40 p.m., checking in at 1:33 p.m. at this Denham Spring location. We were not finished until around 3:15 p.m., even though she had a class scheduled at 3:30 p.m. which was 30 minutes away. While the registration clerks were extremely respectful and kind, the experience on the optical side (where glasses are chosen) was very disappointing. The young lady who assisted us appeared to be new and untrained. When asked questions, her repeated response was simply "I don't know." She was dismissive, unhelpful, and offered no recommendations or guidance. I have been wearing glasses for over 30 years, so I am well aware of the options, but I still expect staff to be knowledgeable and able to provide appropriate recommendations based on a client's prescription and needs. Instead, we felt rushed and left to figure things out on our own. What was most concerning was that the lead/manager overheard the entire interaction but never intervened or assisted. Rather than supporting her staff or stepping in to provide direction, she remained disengaged working on her computer. This lack of leadership resulted in us receiving far below the level of care one should expect. Overall, the optical side needs improvement in customer service, product knowledge, and professionalism. The staff member in question needs proper training, not only on products but also on how to interact with clients respectfully and helpfully. As it stands, the treatment we received felt like "just a body filling a position" instead of someone invested in patient care.

Staff were nice but you WILL WAIT. Takes about 30 minutes to be called to the back. After they get you prepped for the doctor you'll stay in the dilation room for 15-20 waiting for your room to "open". You will wait 20-30 minutes after you're put in the room for your doctor to come. The Zachary location is way faster, this is my first time coming to the Denham location and there is a HUGE difference between the two.I'm writing this as I am STILL waiting for a doctor

Cleanliness and wait times have always been great for me. Overall, the staff is prompt and attentive. The optometrist was extremely kind and knowledgeable. The only thing I didn't care for was the young lady on the eyeglass side. She offered no help, and her attitude was a bit blah. She wasn't rude at all, and maybe she was just having a bad day, so I won't hold that against the company. Overall, my experience is always a solid 30/10!

The techs and doctors are great! However, the thin blonde at the front desk is not very welcoming. No smile, no thanks, no have a good day. Just attitude and looking like she'd rather be anywhere else.
