It was an amazing experience!!! From Dr. B to the optical associates Alicia, Kei, Tris, Felicia, today couldn't have been better especially in the service department!!! The ladies were multitasking, also very professional, knowledgeable and most importantly sooo polite and kind!!! Target's Optical is top tier, 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Also, might I add they take my insurance and I was able to get an appointment within 24 HOURS!!! Thank you again!!

They scheduled my appt a year in advance like most optical offices. I'm getting emails all month to confirm. Once I get my work schedule, I actually reschedule for earlier in the day through the email I received. I wake up and go in. There's no doctor today. "Oh the appt is tentative. You're supposed to call us and confirm if there's a doctors. And we called you." No one ever called, no one (neither the email) communicated that the appts are tentative and I had to call. Further waste my time "checking if there's an appt scheduled today." Then goes on to tell me I can schedule a virtual appt for any day of the week. Apparently not this day but who wants to have an exam online??

Received a call to confirm my annual eye exam appointment with Bakowski. I am glad they confirmed the charges before reaching at the facility (the 2 stars for that). I was told that the comprehensive eye exam was covered by my insurance. However, the retina exam is MANDATORY, and I will be charged an additional $40 for that. As per my experience during my previous eye exams, we can opt out of the retina exam, especially if we have no risk factors like Hypertension, DM, family history of retinal diseases, etc. Unfortunately, you have to know your rights as a patient before seeing providers like these that make you pay out of pocket even before evaluating you for services that you do not absolutely need.

RUN. Do not walk out of this office. I was very disappointed at my exam with Dr Bakowski. He did not examine me for longer than 3 minutes . I told him I could not see the chart and yet he still wrote me a prescription. I did not have high hopes for the glasses. When they arrived they were not the correct prescription. Comparing my old rx and my new, they are complete opposites. The staff was very nice and helpful. Very unprofessional doctor. I was refunded with my original receipt. I also had told the lady helping me with the glasses that I did not want the protection plan. But when I got home and looked at the receipt, I had been charged for it. Please just got somewhere else. Do not waste your time, money, or insurance benefits.
