For Your Eyes Only 20/20

Crazy wait times and weird vibes. I was asked to sanitize my hands the second I walked in the first time, but never heard anyone else get asked to do so when they entered. Also didn't get asked to do so again when I came back another day (needing to reschedule after waiting 45 minutes). I wanted to support local, but this isn't it.

When I called to make the appointment the upfront receptionist was great and when I got there she was fun. I didn't wait more than 15 minutes beyond my appointment at the most. Love the doctor. She was very thorough and had a wonderful attitude.

Needless to say the doctor here is a genius and very understanding of the patients eye needs, going above and beyond to get my prescription correct. I have never seen so clearly since my original eye doctor when I was a child, every other doctor failed to get my prescription correct. She is truly a blessing the staff there are also very nice. The ratings don't do it justice. Genius doctor, paired with a nice staff and open to suggestions rather than sticking to what they know, makes for a great team. Thank you again!!

We love this place. The office staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The doctor is amazing she is so patient with my autistic son and my toddler! I highly recommend. We drive from Slidell because the services are just that superb.

Dr. Daphne Richardson provided me with the utmost care during my eye examination last year. I've been to many eye clinics since my youth, but she was the first eye doctor to genuinely listen and act accordingly when helping me get a prescription. She is skilled at picking up on subtle differences in vocal tones, facial expressions, and body language. I was also able to receive a very-well made pair of glasses for my astigmatism at an affordable price. Sure, it's not a "5 star, classy facility", but the quality care and affordability impressed me. I would highly recommend Dr. Richardson to any LGBT+ individuals or fellow minorities in the Slidell and New Orleans area.

I always enjoy visiting Dr. Richardson! She is incredibly knowledgeable and takes the time to be patient with me. I've faced several serious eye issues, and she has gone above and beyond to help me feel better. She also recommended a great primary care physician for my overall health. Hate leaving negative reviews. It hurts my soul. Here's why they get 1 star from me: Wanted to try a local business rather than the national chain that bought out my regular optometrist. I had an appointment. I'm expected to be on time, and I expected them to be on time within reason. Instead, they didn't see me until almost an hour after my appointment time. By the time I'd left, Id been there for 3 hours just to get an eye exam. I was there for so long that I was late for my other appointments and my meter ran out resulting in a $30 ticket on top of everything. I sucked it up and didn't complain. One year later I'm about due for another annual eye exam and I'm having a hard time reading in the evenings. It's like my eyes are vibrating staring at the pages. So rather than go back I went to MyEyedr And they did a thorough examination of my eyes as well as my glasses, which I was prescribed from this facility. For the past year I have been wearing an incorrect prescription. I was informed to go back to my prescription from 4 years ago because it was closer than what these folks sold me. So, 3 hours of my time, a year of bad prescription, And hundreds of dollars invested in eyeglasses and an exam with a parking ticket on top all for nothing. I had no idea how off my vision was until I went back to my old prescription and ultimately got new glasses elsewhere. I'm not here to say that you'll have the same experience I did, but once was enough for me.
