It had been a couple of years since my last eye exam. Dr Leslie Morris was very kind and patient. She explained exactly what she was doing and made sure I understood all my options for eye care, glasses, contact lenses, and my insurance. The shop was super cute too!

Update - 12.3.25: the doctor did nothing to rectify this. Giving 1 star. I will not be back to an establishment that purposely misleads individuals. I recommend you do the same.
Update- the doctor reached out via email offering to make this right. I appreciate the direct response, but there needs to be clearer communication from the receptionist.
Giving 3 stars because Dr. Morris is very personable and a very kind person. However--as a student trying to find less costly options around town --I felt a bit misled being told they accepted my insurance and then when was later told when I arrived I would have to cover the full $150 contact lens exam If I had known this prior, I would have gone to another eye center that offered an alternative solution that was cheaper. I left spending nearly double what I thought I would have spent.
The receptionist needs to make this explicit over the phone. There's no way i'm the first person to be a bit surprised by this.
