I CAN SEE CLEARLY NOW: I had a terrific first experience at MyEyeDr. I went in for an eye exam, and they were able to bring an old favorite pair of glasses back to life by replacing the scratched lenses. Everyone was so friendly, professional and helpful. The location is super convenient to my Carrollton neighborhood, which is a big plus. Dr. Vi Nguyen was wonderful, and the associates made the whole experience easy, smooth and very clear from beginning to end. Welcome to the neighborhood

Today I had a very unpleasant visit at the St Charles Ave office due a very aggressive, inaccurate, inconsistent, and dismissive person named Catherine who identified herself as the manager. I have been a patient at this office since 2022 and a retail customer for prescription frames for years before I became a patient and I have never experienced anyone as disrespectful, unprofessional, and aggressive as Catherine. I called the office this morning at 11:20 am and spoke with a very nice lady name Margie who rescheduled a future appointment and placed me in a 12:40 pm appointment today. I arrived to the office around 12:35 pm to find the attached notice on the door stating the office was closed until 1 pm. I opened the door and a lady immediately said "we're closed for lunch", the lady later identified herself as Catherine. I stated I had called earlier in the morning and scheduled a 12:40 pm appointment and she told me I didn't have an appointment at the time. I explained I definitely had the appointment and that I had spoken to Margie to schedule it. She then changed the narrative to my appointment must be at 12:50 pm and said they are running behind and the techs are all still at lunch. She directed me to have a seat. I reiterated I had a 12:40 pm appointment and asked about how long the delay would be and she again directed me to have a seat and stated once the techs were back that they would call me. She stated the time would be the same since the appointment is 45 minutes. I asked if that meant that part of my appointment would accelerated since they are running behind? She then changed the narrative to the appointments being 30-45 minutes and told me to have a seat. I decided to stand and wasn't near the desk but she re-engaged directing me to sit down until I was called. At that point I asked her not to speak to me that way and asked for the manager and she stated she was the manager. I then asked for the information for the district manager and she said she wouldn't provide that information until after my visit. I stepped outside to make a call but did not feel comfortable staying for the appointment after Catherine's behavior so I stepped back inside and asked another young lady if she could cancel the appointment and she was nice and said sure, but Catherine inserted herself, clicked something in the computer and said "there I deleted it". This incident has definitely left me feeling as though I cannot patronize this location. Catherine's aggressive behavior makes me very uncomfortable.

Just had an excellent exam with Dr Moran. He was so thorough and patient with my questions that I scheduled my son's appointment also. Courtney was so helpful, friendly and knowledgeable to work with. She gave the advice we needed to choose the perfect pair of glasses for my husband. Great selection of frames and love this office and staff!

Office manager was super helpful when I was looking for new glasses. She found a style similar to what I was wearing that was a much lighter frame, and had a great deal going on which made purchasing a pair of glasses AND a pair of sunglasses less expensive than my original pair of glasses. She was very knowledgeable and I appreciated the time she took to go through things with me.

We had a great experience with Dr. Vi Nguyen this past weekend. My 6 year old was brought in for an eye exam and she and staff were so patient with him. She explained every exam and helped him feel more calm. We paid out of pocket and for $99 I thought the exam was very detailed. We ended up ordering glasses while we were there as well as they had a special promotion and with exam and glasses combined it was only roughly $300 or so. Thank you Dr Nguyen for helping my boy feel welcome and being so patient with him.

Chantelle provided exceptional service during my visit to the eye doctor's office. She was professional, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout the entire appointment. Her assistance made the process smooth and efficient. I highly recommend her.

Catherine Palmer and MyEyeDr. have hit it out of the park once again. I'm a big fan of Krewe frames, and Catherine Palmer and the team at MyEyeDr. have filled all 15 of my prescriptions--yes, 15! I'm extremely satisfied with the professional service, thoughtful suggestions, and VIP treatment. I look forward to my next visit!
