I was visiting from out of town and managed to forget my contacts! Primary Eye Care was so amazing and helped me get contacts to make it through my work trip! They were so friendly and helpful! I don't know what I would have done without them! Thank you Primary Eye Care!

One of my earliest core memories was at the eye doctor at the age of three. I kept calling the chicken an iguana back then in the exam. Fast forward 35 years later and I must recommend Dr. Jarrett Johnson and her esteemed staff for the best eye doctor appointment I've ever had. I have severe far-sightedness and have seen my fair share of eye doctors over the the past 30 odd years. Dr. Johnson was the most informed, most passionate, and detailed optometrist I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. She and I talked shop for a bit about the pathology of eyes and other genetic conditions, but it was her exam that impressed me. She knew exactly what she was doing and didn't make me endure endless slides. She treated our time as valuable and also made sure my needs were met and went above and beyond Side note: this may not be relevant to most of the population, but she has trial contacts that go way beyond +8. My RX is +12 in the left eye and +10.50 in the right eye. I am so grateful for her. She is a gem to the community and refreshing after years of searching for a good eye doctor. The space is beautiful and quintessentially New Orleans situated in an old Creole Cottage right off of Bayou Road. It smells good, felt welcoming, and was efficient and kind. Everytime I come in it's the front desk insurance lady with a attitude they hate to go the extra mile to help you out there a lady that has a great personality but WHN you only got one person that can't save yall name I will not be coming back here I'll go to uptown location there nice helpful and the atmosphere is awesome

Walmart Cant get another penny from me. They were very quick and knowledgeable. My daughter broke her glasses twice and they were fIX Jonny on the spot both times. Any other places you have to wait days or even a week. The staff is friendly usually the same lady helps me and she is always nice I appreciate this business being respectful and not with the bull crap.Thank YOU!

I have a high prescription and I am always a bit nervous with eye exams. I never feel rushed by anyone in this office, and the exam is comprehensive and thorough. Dr. Johnson showed me computer images of my inner eyes today which was pretty cool. I also especially appreciate the good job the technician who puts the lenses into the frame does. You can't even tell how strong the glasses are with the way he tailors them to the specific frame. The entire staff is really friendly and calm. Plus, it's a beautiful old house with lots of details to look at while you are waiting.

Primary Eye Care gave me the most thorough eye exam I've ever experienced. From start to finish, the staff was kind, professional, and efficient. My eye doctor took their time explaining everything and made sure all of my questions were answered. I truly felt like my eye health was a priority. I walked away feeling confident and well-informed.
