Doctor Fuerst was the MOST INCREDIBLE doctor we've ever met... Our toddler has strabismus, a condition she'll have to manage for the rest of her life. It's hard choosing the right doctor to trust with your child's eyesight. Our kiddo is normally terrified of doctors. Her last Ophthalmologist did nothing to remedy that fear. Visits were cold and rushed... But our experience Dr. Fuerst was completely the opposite. The lovely person at reception was delightful and quick. We even chatted with her for a while after the visit was over because she was just the sweetest. Nurse Mychelle (I never saw your name spelled, I'm so sorry!) was absolutely amazing. She was so patient with us and got us sorted into each of our rooms, took extremely detailed notes on our daughter's current condition, and helped keep us comfortable the entire time! We were brought into a colorful room where Doctor Fuerst engaged our kiddo with toys, lights, and showed her each of the instruments she was using. Her ability to quickly gain trust through play was something we'll never forget. She just had the most warm and loving spirit while interacting with our daughter. It brought my husband to tears, because of the contrast with our previous physician. Our daughter actually looked through the lenses while completely calm. She wasn't scared of the doctor for the first time in her little life. Dr. Fuerst even got a giggle out of her. She stayed with us to talk about next steps, her new glasses prescription, what the upcoming years might look like, and what we could do at home to best support her patching journey. Doctor Rachel Fuerst should be a role model for all physicians. Her standard of care is second to none. Doctor Fuerst, thank you for making caring for others your life's purpose.

Best Dr ever!! So sweet, So passionate, very thorough, and takes her time to explain everything. Amazing bedside manner. Loves her patients and what she does. She was our saving grace! Can't say enough positive about her! Wish we would have found her a long time before we did!! Love love love her!!!!

My daughter had her very first appointment with Dr. Fuerst last week, and she was PHENOMENAL! So gentle, and kind with my little one, and super sweet to me and my mother! Her assistant, Jenn was amazing as well!! I am SO relieved, and feel so at peace with letting these kind ladies take care of my baby girl and her eye sight! I would HIGHLY recommend this office to anyone! I would give 100 stars if I could :)

Absolutely amazing! Wonderful bedside manors. I really couldn't imagine another surgeon operating on my baby! She is very thorough, personally calls to follow up, and ensures both parents and kiddo (patient) are comfortable!!! Thank you Dr. Fuerst!!

I cannot recommend Dr. Fuerst enough! She went above and beyond to figure out what condition my daughter has, finding the best specialist that my daughter can see out of state and speaking with him as soon as she could. I honestly don't know what we would have done without Dr. Fuerst. We will continue to see her until my daughter cannot see her anymore.
