I saw Dr Puri after my left eye had a vitreous separation. At the time, he stated that my right eye may do the same thing. He was correct. 5 months later, my right eye followed. Dr Puri was amazing. He and his team are kind, knowledgeable, thorough and efficient. I wouldn't go to any other provider and was thankful that I knew what to expect when my other eye followed just as Dr Puri predicted. I highly recommend him and his team!

I'm from Lafayette and had a severe eye infection from cataract surgery and was sent to Oschners in New Orleans to see a retina specialist. I had never been to this place but I must say, from the moment I walked in to an unfamiliar facility I was treated with respect, caring and genuine compassion employees. I had 3 visits including eye surgery since that first visit and every visit I was treated well!

Explains the things that are good for the patient (even if he has to go over it numerous times until the patient truly understands). He allows the patient to truly be part of their health care plan.
