Dr. Bennett was very professional and extremely nice, but the only problem i had is when I was getting fitted for my glasses and I was very rudely told by a worker that my insurance does not cover bifocal or tri focal and acted as if they was having to pay for my glasses themselves. And it is very difficult to get the eye wear department on the phone regarding questions I have. I think the workers should try to be helpful to their customers any way they can instead of acting like they are responsible for the cost of your glasses

I'd like to start by saying that the doctors and medical staff at this location are wonderful. Unfortunately, my experience with the optical center has ensured that I will not be returning. On November 25th around 4:30 PM, I went in to place an order for glasses for both my son and myself. The woman who assisted us was extremely rude from the start. She was unable to locate my insurance information, my last name was incorrect in the system (she never asked for my name), and the entire interaction felt rushed and dismissive. Throughout the process, she was audibly sighing, breathing heavily when frustrated, and even rolled her eyes.Once the order was finally placed, I was told both pairs of glasses would be ready within 7-10 days. My son's glasses were completed within that timeframe. Mine, however, still have not arrived. I received no updates or communication whatsoever. When I called about two weeks ago to check on the status, the phone was not answered until the end of the day. I was then told my glasses were still being processed. At no point was I informed that my order would take significantly longer. Had I been told this upfront, I would have taken my prescription elsewhere. I have been going to the Alexandria location since I was a teenager and have never had an experience like this. It's incredibly disappointing. If someone does not want to help people or work with the public, they should not be in a customer-facing role.

Very bad experience. First, we were told that they were over booked, so we were there over 3 hours for just an annual visit. Second, my eyes were dilated and I was not given any of the drops to undilate my eyes and told I would be fine to drive. Not offered any of the dark lease covers either. Third, I go to get my new glasses, couldn't see out of them, the lady at the eyeglass store, changed out the lenses, still couldn't see. She then checked my old prescription, told me apparently I had gotten the wrong prescription from the doctor, she requested a retest. Went back to your office, and was told you would not retest because the glasses were as prescribed. This was true, but it wasn't correct for my eyes, could have been someone else's prescription, just wasn't correct for my eyesight. I had to go pay for another eye exam at a different Dr., who was very surprised at the prescription that I was given. So after 4 days of running back and forth between Pineville and Alexandria numerous times, I finally have glasses that I can use. This has been a very costly experience that I will not repeat!

Booked appointments for my kids (all 3) being we just moved to the area, they made sure they were all put on the same day 2 save my time. They were a little confused because one of my kids has a different last name but we got it figured out. I also had to turn around when trying to get to their office because I never see their sign coming from the Holloway area but was only about 3 minutes late and had to fill out 2-3 papers per child because they were new patients. I explained to them when I walked in that I had 2 turn around and come back, that's why I was running late and they seemed like they heard it before but didn't seem rude about it. I will admit I felt like I was kinda rushed when my kids were picking glasses but did give me a second opinion on how the ones they picked looked on my kids, which i personally like to have a second opinion from an outside eye. I received text messages when their glasses came in and will b picking them up this morning, they took about a week and a half to come in with our insurance (Louisiana Healthcare Connections) and the freezing weather we had at the beginning of the week. Overall very satisfied with their service so far, and the doctors and nurses were very thorough and looked at everything which I love, being that we were going to WalMart before for their exams and I didn't feel like they did a very good job with looking at their eye health (with dilation) which is what I worry about

In general all staff at every facility not just this one treats their patients with an impersonal and un caring attitude. People today act as though it would take away part of their soul to chat just a bit. It is a turn in our society I just can't get used to.

Wait time in the lobby wasn't bad. In the back? I was left in a room alone for over an hour. Upfront where you go get your glasses. Don't even ask. Good luck. I'm scared to even share my experience with a specific lady that works there. Needless so say, I'm too scared to go back.

I sat there for 2 and a half hours heard every one saying goodbye and going home while still sitting in the chair in. The Bennetts office. Rediculous to long of a wait! Will not be back. I came out said hello and the Dr said I'm back here.. him sitting at his desk looking at his computer.. he said .. I been looking for you! lol .. No buddy you wasn't looking for me ... I held back my tongue for it won't do no good to tell him what I really wanted to say.. fuming I just said I won't be back .. mind you I saw the lady Dr and she came in looked at my eyes walked out very rudely without saying much...and said he is in the next room he will be in shortly.. well that never happened . I was trying to to be patient knowing that I am not the only patient they have there to see.. just admit mistakes when they accur is better than lying.. I think I would have took it better if he would have said something like .. im so sorry I don't know how this happened but nope .

If your time is valuable, do not go here. Waited 2 hours in the waiting lobby. They have 3 providers and the lobby filled was filled with 10-15 people. If you have nothing to do for the day make an appointment here. You'll be sure to waste your time.
