Friendly staff, quick service. Downside is, I've waited going on 4 weeks for my glasses to come in. Not entirely their fault because they're not made in house but 4 weeks is an absurd time.

Extremely horrible optometrist and his assistant (His Son). Wouldn't Was give me my prescription after my contact ripped, to go to another optometrist. Was unable to see and was lied to by the son that he couldn't give the prescription to me or another optometrist. Went to another optometrist and they told me that what they were doing, holding my prescription was Illegal. After two calls from the new optometrist they finally faxed over prescription, while the doctor and I waited for it to be faxed. About 40 minutes of our time before they faxed it. Exceptionally just plain mean and abusive. Me and my husband did go together to pick u

I broke my glasses, not knowing if I could go anywhere to repair them luckily I called them and they were so helpful and it was such a minor repair they let me go God Bless Gilcrease Eye care ! Yall have blessed a struggling mom ! The smallest gesture was the biggest blessing !!

Bad customer service. Won't email receipts for services or products purchased. Nobody in the office other than one person can print receipts. I called ahead to have a receipt printed for pickup the next day because they won't email receipts. Called in the morning to request the receipt printed and called back after lunch to be sure it was done. I was told, "The only lady who prints receipts may or may not come in today and we never know when she is coming to work or not." After this, I was upset and let the receptionist know my frustration, at which point she goes on this scripted disclaimer about notifying management of my suggestions and how she can't do anything about it and talking over me repeatedly to the point I just stopped speaking until she hung up. Go somewhere else for glasses.

I can't believe those bad reviews! I have been there multiple times and always had wonderful service from everyone! The owners wife always helped me pick out my glasses and Dr. Gilcrease is always wonderful. I don't know about the "street corner hustler" that one guy said but I am sure he just wanted something for nothing. Maybe he should go to America's Best. I love my glasses and the quality is excellent. Thank you Gilcrease Eye Care!
