Stanton Optical

First time using Stanton and it was a great experience! I booked my appointment online and was seen immediately. All of the standard tests were performed, some of which were with a virtual technician which was pretty cool. My glasses were ready to be picked up same day and Lance was great with walking me through each step of the process. No a doctor was not seen, but for someone like me who doesn't have any concerns or conditions to address it was more than adequate.

Jennifer was very professional, kind, and point on. We need more people like her in the workforce. Specially in today world. Give this lady a raise. Fast service and clean store made it pleasant. I'm one happy customer. Great job! Nice and affordable frames. My husband has never received so many compliments like he has with the frames he got from Stanton. Thanks a bunch. Y'all won our business .

I want to clarify upfront that this location only offers virtual visits, which I didn't know beforehand. You never meet with a doctor in person or have anyone physically examine your eyes. As someone who has always seen in-person ophthalmologists, this was extremely disappointing. The equipment used during my visit seemed outdated, and my eye pressure was read incorrectly. I was also given a prescription that ended up being too strong for my eyes. Because of this, I had to take time out of my work week to see a second ophthalmologist in person, who confirmed my eye pressure was actually normal and provided a corrected prescription. On top of that, since my eye insurance had already been billed by Stanton, I had to use my medical insurance at the second location and pay more out of pocket just to make sure I got an accurate exam. Then, to get a proper contacts prescription, I had to schedule yet another appointment with Stanton and wait 48 hours for a virtual doctor to review the new notes and send me a new prescription. At this point I'm out of contacts and I have a marathon to run in less than 7 days. Who knows if I'll have my contacts by then... Overall, the entire experience was frustrating, inconvenient, and costly. I will not be returning to this location or any Stanton in the future.

Fast, Clean, & Professional! I highly commend the staff of this establishment! They are extremely talented at what they do and warm and kind to all who come to them. I highly recommend you ask for MaLeah, She's is always eager to help, and fast at what she does. She has helped me more than a dozen at the store and I have always left satisfied and confident with my prescription and my glasses!

Go to this store and ask for MaLeah! I go here for all of my eye needs and they never let me down! I recently came in with a problem with my glasses (they are transitions) I found that I because of how tall I am that when I'm driving early in the morning or later in the evening (specifically sunrise and sunset) that the glare from the sun is so intense I can barely see when I'm in traffic. And my transitions wouldn't transition because of my height and where my head is positioned in the vehicle. So I'm complaining about all of this to MaLeah and she just looks at me and goes "Why don't you get some prescription sunglasses then?" And I have to admit I had never thought of that, and I never usually buy sunglasses because I can't see out of them without my prescription lenses you know?! So to make this long story short, when you go here expect quick service and stupid easy fixes to the problems that have but you don't really think about, these folks are good at what they do, especially MaLeah! I can actually see when I'm driving now and I get to see better when I'm fishing now without all the glare thanks to her. Prescription sunglasses who would've that of that?! Probably a lot of you would've thought of that but I never admitted to being the brightest bulb lol!

Customer service is great when your buying glasses or getting an exam. But if the welding on your frames goes bad, you can't get them replaced or reworked. You just have to buy new frames. Also they don't tell you that you need lense insurance when purchasing the glasses. And if you scratch your lenses with out it, they just want you to buy a new pair. Would not recommend.

The staff were very nice and helpful! Listened to what I had to say, and they are a really great place. Got my lenses same day as I got my eyes checked!
