Dr. Blahnik and his staff are great! I made an appointment earlier in the week to get an eye concern addressed and the visit went great. It was super clean and they book the appointments so that you don't have long wait times. Dr. Blahnik even went above and beyond and helped me with an insurance issue that another Dr. would've missed. Highly recommend!

Dr. Blahnik is an experienced Professional and provided great service. The ladies up front were very nice and attentive. Very happy with this Office. I took my son here last year and had the same great experience.

The offices are so clean, sleek, and modern. The VERY BEST of all is that they accept Medicaid, which I have. I mean, the Medicaid insurance can only cover the eye exam and one pair of cheap plastic glasses, not the designer brand. Mr. Scott Blahnik is very whimsical, witty, and humorous. He is not like any stuffy gray hair Doctor.

I'd say the most important thing is paying attention to your map. This place is located right past a tire shop and is in a small shopping strip. If god forbid you miss this, don't make the mistake I made and end up back on HWY 90. (I posted a picture of this from the street view) I ended up having to cross the Bridge and making a circle! Be extra careful with your GPS though, because while my Google Maps is usually excellent, I made one wrong turn and the detours she gave me were insane -- I thought she was possessed by demons. I came to Dr. Blahnik after have a terrible experience with another eye doctor recently where I paid cash but left with useless glasses and contacts and a really terrible customer service experience. Dr. Blahnik took his time and really addressed all of the concerns I had and gave me faith again in this profession. He was patient, thorough, and kind. His office is clean and the soft lighting makes it a very calming atmosphere. I'm extremely glad I made the decision to come here for a second opinion. I only wish I had come here first!

I've been a patient of Dr. Blahnik for over 20 years... he's a fabulous Optometrist. I recommend him to everyone I know; in fact, everyone in my family with vision problems sees him. He is caring and compassionate to old and young. My son, who is now 19 years old, has been seeing him since he was 10. Also, my mother who has Alzheimer's is a patient. He is caring, knowledgeable, respectful and a extremely thorough. Even though I live in Baton Rouge, I wouldn't consider seeing another doctor. He's the best on the East and West Bank and any Optometrist in Baton Rouge!

I've been a patient of Dr. Blahnik's for over 10 years. He is absolutely the BEST! He is brilliant, kind and compassionate. I would drive to the end of the earth to see him. He's that AWESOME...

Dr. Blahnik is very professional, knowledgeable, and down to earth. The staff, Amber, is very professional, and customer friendly. The office is clean and has a varied selection of eyewear to choose from.

Used Dr. Blahnik for 25 years and finally had enough. Staff (always new faces) is and always has been horrible. Horrible attitudes and no one ever knows what they're doing. Went to my appointment January 2021, was treated badly for the last time by the staff, left without being seen and they were not even phased to lose a customer. Would not give any stars but not possible.
