My husband got glasses there about six months ago, after a week or so icalled and told them he could not see out of them, and they said he would have to get used to them. Well, i call today and they told me it was too late to do anything.And said, maybe his prescription changed. It did not change after seeing the eye.Doctor they just do not know how to do the glasses. They wanna say it's maybe because he has a stigmatism.Well, they knew he had it when he went in and they still didn't do the glasses, right. NEVER AGAIN !! BEWARE

I tried them based on a referral from a co-worker after I had a terrible experience at another eye care facility. So I was a bit guarded going in...
Dr. Scogin was professional, experienced, he explained why he was doing certain tests, what he was looking for and overall was very thorough. I got the impression he really knew what he was doing.
The office manager (I believe Kim is her name) took over all the details and getting me fixed up in a new pair of glasses. She explained things in detail, she was extremely thoughtful to be sure the frames we found would allow the lens type I wanted to ensure the clearest vision with no distortions.
She took measurements of absolutely everything more than once to make sure the order would be perfect. She was also honest about what frames did and did not look good on me!
Kim mentioned she has something like 20 years experience and Dr. Scogin has 30 years and it shows.
I picked up the glasses today and they are perfect. The entire staff really knows their craft. They were all so down to earth and completely professional.
I highly recommend this team!

I called up there today (Tuesday afternoon) and the associate that answered the phone was so rude and had an attitude from the second she answered the phone. When I asked a question she scoffed and laughed then treated me like I was stupid for asking it. I didn't get any answers because I changed my mind since she was so rude. Even if she was monotone that would have been fine, but she had an awful attitude and was super rude. I hope these calls are recorded so her superior can go back and hear how she was speaking.

Pleasant experience all around with this location. Their doctor is there M-F and every other Saturday and they'll schedule you between 8-3:30! That's some excellent MD hours compared to my local Walmart. I won't get into it but the WalMart Vision Center in Winnsboro, LA will never waste my time again - EVER. SO! Back to the wonderful world of Walmart Vision Center of West, Monroe LA! :-) They accept most commercial insurances but you can call to confirm first. The associates are so pleasant, friendly, & attentive. There are usually 2 on the floor assisting customers. They're very thorough & answer all questions. You'll never feel forced, rushed, or regret being there! The doctor is very respectful & polite. I compared my last visit similar to a spa. It was a very smooth experience. The way a visit should be. I definitely plan on coming back. They have a big selection of frames. I can't wait to follow up. Looking forward to maybe getting some contacts now from this location. I'm a very happy customer. No complaints.
