Seebreeze Family Eyecare

First of all the Dr. wouldn't make eye contact with me the whole time I was there. The glasses he gave me decreased my field of vision for reading to 12 inches. I returned them and it became apparent he wanted me to get Trifocals which I didn't want and he badgered me to get them. When I returned for the new glasses they were Bifocals!! At that point I just got my money back. Went to another Optometrist who said my lower lens for reading didn't need to change. Adjusted long distance slightly and charged me $200 less! I wouldn't recommend Sea Breeze Eye care to anyone!

Really unprofessional manor with both my wife and myself. Dr Wich seemed put out and judgmental until he found out I was a health care professional. On two different occasions they gave my wife and I the wrong prescription's. She was so afraid of him that she refuses to go back and get the prescription fixed. 1 star because ya can't give less. Unfortunately the only game in town.

Dr. Wich accused my daughter of "malingering", said that she was purposely sabotaging her own eye exam so she could get glasses. (!!!) He also told me that "girls do this all the time". He has zero understanding of how to work with children. He is patronizing and condescending, bith to my daughter and to me. I canceled my own eye care because of the way he treated my daughter. Absolutely unforgiveable.

Might be wrong but the pediatric eye care Dr. Wich I believe his name is has a low tolerance factor with children who perhaps are hyper in nature. His patience factor is to the point he will cancel the appointment if the child doesn't comply to his standard. At times I'm fearful of his impulsiveness to be a little overactive at times and rather physically to involved by its own nature. His hands on my child concerns me and I hope it can be corrected. Not to be confused with physical abuse but patience factor if a child doesn't comply and messes with equipment by curiosity.

I waited 2 months for my eye exam. They also cancelled on me once. When I finally got there they said I would have to pay for my exam $200 due to my insurance. They had my insurance information the whole time and they couldn't think to tell me my insurance was out of network with them. When I called them in the beginning I specifically asked if they were in network. Just very poor communication. I'm sure the doctors are great but when you have to wait months for a appointment to be sent away unless you can pay $200 is quite annoying none the less.

Seebreeze Family Eye Care is an excellent eye practice. The staff are pleasant and well trained. The building is modern, tastefully decorated and immaculately clean. This practice has all the last styles of glasses. Located conveniently across from Belfast High School too! Received my prescription no questions asked!

Excellent place to go for vision care. I have worked with this company through another doctors office for over 10 years, requesting and receiving many eyeglass prescriptions over the years, including my own a few times, without ever experiencing any difficulty. I liked their professionalism so much that I became a patient and I have never been disappointed. Top notch company.

I had a good experience at Seebreeze Eyecare. Dr Wich did my exam and was very thorough and informative. The office staff were all pleasant and helpful.
