Coastal Family Eye Care formerly McCormick & Bouchard Eye Care

My teenage son has been seeing Dr. Beveridge for the past few years. His most recent appointment was the beginning of October 2025. We have always had a great experience at Coastal Family Eye Care. Dr. Beveridge is patient, personable, and takes the time to explain everything clearly. The staff is friendly and professional, and the office is always clean and well-organized. Appointments are on time, and we get in and out in a reasonable manner, which makes scheduling so much easier. We have never felt rushed, and the entire team provides excellent care every time. I would highly recommend Coastal Family Eye Care and Dr. Beveridge to anyone looking for quality optometry care and a positive experience for their family!

Atrocious customer service. My mother-in-law has had an appointment scheduled for over three months. They called last night to confirm, but my fiance was at work and didn't pick up. We were planning on going to her 430 appointment. We called to double check a few hours before her appointment and they said that someone called the night before and canceled, which was not true. She only has three close family member who even knew about the appointment & they said they gave the appointment away and the only thing they could do is schedule us for another month out. This isn't just a regular eye appointment. She's been without glasses for about two years and we were finally able to get her booked as a Maine Care patient. I work at a veterinary clinic, who is booked out about three months, if we had done this, not only would be try to get them in the same day, but we would definitely get them in within the week.

Everyone in this office is absolutely amazing. Front office staff, doctors, & eye wear staff. Always an outstanding appointment/experience.

I don't remember the last time I was treated with less respect and care than I was with Dr. Bouchard today. I've never felt so rushed that I didn't feel comfortable asking a couple quick questions before I was rushed out. This after sitting in the room for a good half hour after having eye drops administered, and told she'd be back shortly And she didn't bother to explain that I'd be partially blinded due to the eyedrops during my drive home. I won't be back.

I'm not sure why this place only has three stars, the service McCormick and Bouchard deserves over 4, that's for sure! I'm really grateful for the text reminders they use for my appointments, and I felt like they took me very seriously and cared about my concerns with my eyesight. I haven't had an eye doctor in a while, but I would highly recommend this place. Very considerate doctors, very friendly staff! They even provided me my eyesight info so I can order glasses myself, in consideration of saving money. Now THAT is stellar service!

We have gone to McCormick and Bouchard for many years now. The staff is kind and caring. The pace always moves efficiently and we always feel at home there. Our family has had our share of unusual circumstances and the doctor has always been very knowledgeable and direct about our treatment options and care. The opticians on staff have guided us throught choosing appropriate eye gear for all of our family members. We truly feel that everyone there genuinely cares about us and is part of our community family.

I want to share a very positive experience at Coastal Family Eye Care with Dr William Beveridge. Highly recommended! I first encountered Amy, who did a thorough review of my eye history and issues that I wanted solved. Then I met with Dr. Beveridge who turned out to be very professional and empathetic showing great concern for me and my eye health. His exam was complete and his prescription was even better. Thank you Amy and Dr. Beveridge, the practice is lucky to have you as a new partner to continue building patient trust and loyalty.

I have been going to this office for 20 years and I have always had an excellent experience. Never a problem. Staff is awesome with my appointments, billing, insurance and Dr. McCormick is great. Patient flow is smooth and I have never had to wait very long. Highly recommend.
