He did an amazing job on my daughter's lazy eye surgery. However, the wait time every time we go to his office is just asinine. They also NEVER answer our calls and we always leave a voicemail that no one returns. Leaving from this office asap.

I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Berman. He is kind, straightforward and professional. My daughter had strabismus surgery in 2023 and my son just recently in 2024; both surgeries were successful. Dr. Berman and his team eased any anxieties we had and answered all questions pre and post-op. The office is usually busy so there are sometimes long waits, but I think that is due to a lack of great ophthalmologists in the area so they just have a lot of patients. If your child has any eye related issues, I highly recommend Dr. Berman.

We absolutely LOVE Dr. Jeffrey Berman!! We have had a wonderful experience with him, and our daughter's surgery and care afterwards. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone. I feel confident that everyone will feel very well cared for, and that your children will feel comfortable and very well cared for by him. His bedside manor is warm and compassionate. If you are looking for an ophthalmologist for your child, give him a call!!

I've been going to the eye doctor since I was a toddler because of severe myopia and I've never had a doctor be so rude and discriminatory. I was referred to another doctor for asking questions about drops and getting teary because of having to have a stranger touch my face. I'm diagnosed on the autism spectrum and it is incredibly common for us to have sensory issues around lights, sounds, personal space. He is unwilling to accommodate and will condescend to you if you're on the spectrum.

My mother took me to him when I about 10 way back in 2001 to have a droopy eye lid fixed. It turned out great and all these years later my friends have told me that they can't even tell that I had surgery! If you have a child that needs eye help then I would highly recommend him.

I was able to get in nice and quickly. My first visit felt a little rushed but I was later able to speak to Dr. Berman personally at a later date. I feel like he truly cares about his patients.

My 3 yr old autistic had her 1st visit today. After making us wait around 2.5hrs and giving the kid drops, this doctor had the NERVE to say "i hope her autisim improves for future visits because otherwise i will have to sedate her in future visits." Autisim is a GENETIC variant, one i and her brother also have, and can not be "improved". This smacks as discrimination as a mindset and we will be getting a 2nd opinion. How can a medical professional be so ignorant in their comments??
The other staff were lovely and helpful. Only the doctor was an issue.

great doctor but always a really long wait time even before they put the drops in and then even longer than they estimate for waiting after. every time we go we have to wait atleast an hour and we were even 10 min early for our appointment. i always see the sign to 30 min behind schedule if you drive like we do an hour and a half commute you really cant wait around.
