The techs were great. They were personable, very efficient and willing to answer my questions as they came up. Dr Rose showed me scans of my eyes so I could see the problem very clearly.He explained what needed to be done and let me decide about waiting or having it done during my first visit. He was calm and reassuring as I am squeamish about my eyes. Due to his explanations and demeanor, I had the shot to my eye right then. I was calm-ish and it went well. It was comforting to know he is a retina specialist and has administered the shots many times. I would highly recommend him and the Maine Eye Center.

Due to my request for lenses that I wanted for my upcoming cataract surgery being a speciality (LAL), I was referred to Dr. Hahn by Dr. Bozorg. My appointment at the Lowell Street facility with all technical, administrative, and Dr. Hahn was exceptional. I was seen for my appointment on time, all my scans were completed by a very professional staff, clinical staff was very thorough and professional, and Dr. Hahn made me feel so confident about the procedure that I was scheduling. She asked great questions and answered all my questions with professional care. I would recommend Maine Eye Center on Lowell Street to anyone looking to have cataract surgery performed.

Everyone here - receptionists, nurses, anaesthetist, and surgeon (Dr. Bozorg) - was professional, efficient, and personable. Sometimes even fun :) I felt confident that everyone was doing their best for me. I hadn't felt that in a long time. If you're worried about getting cataract surgery, go here ASAP. The result is spectacular, esp if you've worn thick glasses for 60 years. For me, it was worth five long treks from the north country.

I was extremely pleased with the staff and the evaluation they performed for an upcoming surgery. They treated me as if I was a 'special' patient and kept me very informed as the evaluation progressed such that I didn't have any follow-up questions. They were very friendly and personable which enhanced my visit.

I had a great experience with Dr. Hahn and team before, during, and following my LASIK surgery. They were professional, accessible, and transparent with details, pricing, etc. They made sure I had ample opportunity for my questions to be answered and informed me about every detail. I was pleased to get a call from Dr. Hahn the evening after my surgery to check up on me and see if I had questions. I would definitely recommend others!

From the time I entered the door the staff took excellent care of me. They seemed to know that I was scared that I was about lot learn of terrible things about my eyes. They provided assurance to me that despite my concerns I had picked the right place to take care of them. Then I saw Dr Moore who I had seen once before at the recommendation of my long terms DC Doctor. I had a series of written questions which the dilation prevented me from reading. No problem-- Dr Moore took the question sheet and wrote down the answers. He held my hand which was most comforting. His assistant and the entire staff exhibited not only caring but great competence. I WAS IN THE RIGHT PLACE. Despite being told that I had AMD in my left eye and dry AMD in the left Dr Moore said the discovery of the treatment I would receive was a tremendous gift to those with AMD. The shot in the eye I had been dreading was nothing. I felt so fortunate that though having AMD I also had Dr Jeffrey Moore and his staff

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about dr bozorg and the entire team including reception,initial evaluation,surgical day and follow up. I was at both Lowell and marginal way. Staff was polite knowledgeable and compassionate. The surgical team was a well oiled machine with excellent patient interactions. Thank you ALL I am looking forward to when my right eye is ready for cataract removal. Again thank you all for your skills to make our world clear and carful again. Ann cook

I want to thank Maine Eye Center for the quick response and the care that was given to a family member. From the call with Jim in triage, to the last person we saw (a janitor) everyone was so caring and helpful. The office was beyond busy, but we were still seen with smiling faces. Thank you to the woman covering in reception, the techs, nurses, and doctors! Was it a long wait? Sure was, but it was worth it to receive the care we did!
