Casco Bay EyeCare

Sadly, I had a pain in my eyes due to Fibromyalgia that I just wanted to confirm that was the problem. That appointment was in March. In September, I went to a different location to get information on how to take care of a stye in both of my eyes. I was told that these happen at my age, 35 to 45. I am 54 - look at my chart. My two year eye exam was due in May. No one at either check out said a word to me about that. I am an organized person, especially when I was gifted with amazing no pay Maine Care. Guess What?!? I got a letter a month after my Maine Care was no more and I now have Anthem insurance. Way to go Casco Bay front desk team! You blew it and if I were to oh, so happily pay out of pocket to now get my eye exam from Casco Bay, it will cost me over $200! Oh, yes please. So far in my phone calls Eyemart Express's next door optometrist charges $158, then if you wait for a Two-for- One glasses, it may be under $300! Much better than Casco Bay, right? Just think something to think about.

Not accepting patients that have mainecare even if they want to pay out of pocket. Talk about classist.

went there when i dented a pair of glasses on a road trip, the girls at the front desk were very kind and accommodating. we were seen immediately by the optician, TJ, who was kind enough to fix them. good people!!
