Went in here to get a pair of glasses adjusted that I hadn't bought here (I'm visiting Portland), figuring I'd just pay for the service. The owner adjusted them fast and perfectly, explaining what he was doing (and a Plan B approach if this didn't work--it did, tho!), and then refused to let me pay anything. While in the store, I started trying on some of the interesting, sometimes unusual frames they had. The staff was helpful and generous, gave me all kinds of things to try, plus tips for buying frames for a small face (mine) back in NY. Lovely, cool, smart little store. If I lived in Portland, I would go here every time.

A little over a year ago, I bought my first pair of glasses here. Since I wasn't sure what I wanted, I was nervous I'd make a bad choice, but Chris and Andy helped me find a pair that were perfect for me. Recently, I came into the store with my husband, and Chris noticed my lenses were scratched (which was my fault entirely). He looked up my date of purchase, and a week later I have brand new lenses because they were still under warranty. Such great service, and the glasses are awesome too.
