Family Eye Care

The staff and Doctor were so friendly, and made me feel very comfortable. I was able to meet with the Doctor and select my glasses in about an hour, and walked out feeling like I had a much better understanding of what I have been experiencing. I would highly recommend them to any of my friends and family!

Exceptional service. I'd seen only one optometrist since I was a child, over 30 years. After he retired, I haven't found another with his level of service. Until now. The entire staff was courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. The office & waiting areas are comfortable and inviting. The equipment is modern and spotlessly maintained. Sue immediately put me at ease during my initial screening. Dr. Jill did a thorough exam, explained everything she was doing, and answered all of my questions. Dr. Small did as well. They discussed my care and options with me. Trina was very thorough in explaining frame and lens options & was upfront on pricing. I'll be purchasing my glasses through Mavor Optical and recommending Dr. Small's practice to anyone needing an optometrist in Presque Isle.

I felt very rushed by the young lady's there. They seemed like they were rushing people out. Not to mention the one who exams was eating while she did it, it was a uncomfortable experience. I Did not feel welcomed at all. The examiner " Paige" made me feel especially unwelcome, my eye prescription has not gotten better . Especially dissatisfied with how long I have to wait to have a good set of glasses.

Dr. Small and the crew are AMAZING! I had the same optometrist since childhood and I was just beside myself when he retired several years ago. I didn't think I'd ever find another eye doctor as good as him. Then I found Dr. Small! I fell into some bad habits after my beloved childhood eye doctor retired, namely sleeping with my contacts in. Dr. Small showed me the damage it was doing and he helped me nurse my eyes back to health by finding better contacts and by teaching me the importance of always taking them out at night. I'm proud to say that my eyes are healthy and my vision is even better thanks to Dr. Small. I simply cannot recommend this practice enough. Everybody is so helpful and courteous and I'm glad to say that Dr. Small now has his daughters in the practice as well. So, if he ever gets any crazy ideas, like retiring someday, I know my eyesight will still be in great hands!
