Kristian Kanagas absolutely saved the day when my boyfriends glasses broke. He not only did an amazing job fixing them, he made them better than they were before they broke! Can't imagine going anywhere else for our glasses needs from now on. Thank you so much Kristian!

This place was fantastic! I was on vacation in the area and I lost the screw that held one of the lenses in my glasses. There was no good way to keep the lens in place. They took me in at 8:00 am without an appointment, fixed my glasses in 5 minutes, and didn't charge me a cent! Everyone there was so kind and thoughtful, too. Can't say enough nice things about them.

I needed some adjustments to my glasses. They spent quite a bit of time with me trying to solve the problem , which they did, and I didn't even purchase the glasses there originally - exceptionally helpful and kind at a time when we need it!

I have been a patron of Mid-Coast Optical for almost 10 years now, and I keep going back over and over. Mr Kangas and his team provide excellent customer service, are highly and promptly responsive, and I find their prices very reasonable. Years ago there was a mistake with new lenses that arrived polarized, but were supposed to be non-polarized. Mr Kangas took care of everything and didn't charge me a cent more for correcting the order. Today I stopped in to show them what looked like a scratch on my prescription Oakley sunglasses. It turned out not to be a scratch but rather paint rubbed onto the lens, and they ended up using a solvent of some kind and cleaned the lens back to new! I couldn't be happier with this business and I highly recommend them!!

I've seen Dr. Poole since 2000 to renew my driver's license. Last time 2016. I am now at the age I need an eye exam every 4 years. They are now telling me I am not a patient and they aren't taking new patients.

Exorbitant pricing for basic simple reading glasses--10 times the price of drug store reading glasses which serve just as well.
