I was having some severe eye symptoms. The staff was amazing, squeezing me in with no appointment. Dr. Achenbach and her assistant Rachel were fantastic. They were thorough, caring and empathetic to my anxiety. Thankfully the symptoms were from something less severe than what could have been. I am thankful for the Windham team and cannot sing their praises loudly enough.

I loved Dr. Delahanty. She seemed thorough. The test will be when I get the glasses and find out whether or not I can actually see with them. Not so thrilled with the fitter. He talks a lot!!!! May have to revise this when I actually get my glasses.

I loved my assistant! She was so nice, informative and to the point! My doctor was also incredible! I haven't had any eye exams since I was a kid and this process was very smooth everyone was very friendly! Even the guy that helped me get fitted for my new glasses! Thank you Windham location!

Good office and easy in and out. The staff is really nice too. My only feedback is that there is a $20 charge on top of what I already pay for insurance and they are in my network. It is because of some special scan that they prefer to use but insurance doesn't cover. I feel strongly that if Maine Optometry wants to use these scans, they should find a way to incorporate it into their services without charging the patient more. This is very hard on people on top of paying for their insurance too. If you are in network, a regular annual exam should not cost anything extra.
