Dr. John M. Avallone, MD

Dr Avallone and his team are AMAZING!!! My daughter has been seeing him since she was about a year old and ended up needing surgery at about 4.5 years old. Dr Avallone is absolutely wonderful with kids, he was great with my daughter throughout her entire care, but especially pre and post op. His whole team from the front desk to billing to surgical staff were outstanding and you could really tell that everyone there cared about you and your child. I'd recommend them to anyone, this group is seriously the best. 5/5 stars, would recommend!!!

Long story short, Dr. Avallone is AMAZING. The entire staff gets a 10/10 from me. The care, superb. The urgency, stellar. My 3 year old had a small piece of plastic in his eye and Dr. Avallone and his staff were SO gentle with him, he had to have surgery to get the plastic out and it went BEYOND smoothly. The entire process. I cannot praise this practice enough and I HIGHLY recommend!

My son and daughters have been seeing Dr. Avalone since they have been two years old. The office's new policy stated by the scheduler that Dr. Avalone now only sees patients nine and under. My daughters have aged out but my son just turned nine and have a major difference in his eye prescription over the last two visits. The office refused to schedule him because he is age nine and three months. I expressed the concern with continuity of care but, the scheduler refused to put him on the schedule. I wrote this review to alert parents of this hidden practice policy that could put their child's eyes in danger due to to waiting until they turn nine.

DR. AVALLONE and his stuff have been great. I am glad we were referred to him. The front desk staff is always super friendly as well.

Dr. Avallone is amazing! He is extremely patient , knowledgeable and professional. He just performed a surgery on my 7 year old who had strabismus. The results are great and the recovery is going well so far! I highly recommend Dr. Avallone.

Dr. Avallone is fantastic! My son was a first time patient and on the first visit Dr. Avallone went the extra mile to treat my son's eye infection. He ensured we had the proper medication and called the next morning to check on my son and his condition. Doctors like him, who genuienly care for their patients, are very rare. Superior service and care!

Dr Avalonne has been my son's ophthalmologist since he was 17 months old and my son is about to turn 14 years old. He is an excellent doctor especially when it comes to figuring out your child's vision when they can't even speak . He is attentive and extremely through, giving you the tranquility you need as you are navigating your child's vision problem. My son was able to start wearing contacts at 9 years old and still we remain at the same practice due to the trust and relationship we have developed over the years. The staff is fantastic and their optician are indeed trustworthy, reliable and with the honest price. When it comes to your child vision, the kind of service, trust and respect you receive is really priceless!

Dr. Avalone is very pleasant and puts his patient at ease right away. He is very thorough with his exams and. Goes the extra mile to try to correct the problem that the patient is experiencing. I would highly recommend him to my friends and family.
