Levin Eyecare Yard 56

I am very frustrated with the care at Eyes on Eastern. I felt the optometrist did not listen to my concerns and brushed them off, when I have been wearing contacts for 20+ years and had legitimate questions. I felt pushed and bullied into a brand and type of contacts I was not comfortable with. I felt the staff was rude and combative when I had questions about being charged for the trial pair of contacts after my exam, which has never happened at any eye doctor I've ever been to. I trusted the prescription and ordered $500+ of contacts based on the prescription and they fit horribly. Now tasked with trying to return them and waiting to be eligible with my insurance to get another exam somewhere else. Really a terrible experience. Will not be going back.

Most expensive glasses I have ever purchased (over $400 for progressive lenses). Came with a known defective anti-glare coating that starts to fog and peel up in about 12 months. I didn't call until I had the glasses for 13 months when they really started to go bad and was told I had to buy a new pair. They said they cannot remove the peeling coating and they no longer use that company but I am SOL. After using Levin exclusively for the last 15 or so years I am moving on. I hate buying online but if they can't stand behind the product they sell I checked and was able to get get essentially the same glasses/lenses for $130 so at least if they fail in a year I haven't wasted so much money. UPDATE: Someone from Levin called back and said they spoke to the lens manufacturer and was able to get them to replace them free of charge. After about 10 days the new lenses came in and they replaced them in the frame in a matter of minutes. Glad they went to bat for their customer and had them fixed.

I made an appointment for an eye exam a couple weeks ago. I just showed up to a hand written sign on the door saying they were closed. I guess they didn't feel it necessary to let their patients who had appointments scheduled know about their unexpected closure. I'm glad I took time off work for this.

what and awesome experience. I adore the Doctor and staff. I appreciate the time he takes in explaining what happening to me and my vision. I didn't rushed out the door as i have with other ophthalmologist.

Been waiting for my daughters glasses for over a month and everytime I call( if you don't get an answering service) they tell me I'll check and call you back in a couple of days,and they don't.this is the last time I come here.
