I have been coming to this location for several years for both glasses and contacts, and the service from the doctors and staff has always been top-notch. Recently, I went in to replace a pair of broken glasses. While I was browsing for a new pair, a staff member took the initiative to check my account and discovered my broken frames were still under warranty. They were able to order a replacement at no out-of-pocket cost to me. This level of honesty and effort is rare and much appreciated. The frames arrived on time, the process was seamless, and as always, the staff was incredibly pleasant and professional. Highly recommended!

This practice is amazing. Dr Buchanan is very knowledgeable and up to date with all my treatment and questions. The staff: remarkable, also knowledgeable and friendly. No one helps me choose frames like Ms Deirdre. I would recommend this practice.

I start seeing Dr Buchanan years ago, I will not go to another eye doctor. The staff are absolutely wonderful, if mistakes are made the staff calls you and gives you options and does not talk down to you, they are kind. I recently had my yearly eye exam I didn't get Dr Buchanan ( big mistake) but just knowing that next year I could see her was enough for me she's a very good doctor and the staff that she has working with her,they make it happen, I would also like to add that I go there by choice, my insurance does not cover going to that facility, so I pay full price, but in this day and time it is very hard to find a doctor of any sort to listen to you, knowledgeable, and trying to make you understand everything that's going on with your eyes as you age. That type of thing we don't even see anymore so I am very grateful and I will be a continued customer or follow Dr Buchanan wherever she may go, now I could point out things that I wish were better but I know that my eyes are in good hands, the staff tries and I am grateful again....thank you so very much

My experience with Dr. Buchanan and Ms. Deidre was excellent! Dr. Buchanan was so knowledgeable and kind, and Ms. Deidre was so great when helping me order my contacts. She managed to save me money and went out of her way to be helpful & welcoming. Thank you ladies!

My partner had an unfortunate situation one evening. Her glasses snapped in half, without them, her vision is uber blurry. She was very upset and a bit nervous. I called my eye doctor (Canton) location and spoke to a receptionist. I explained the situation and she stated to come in for a physical examination of the broken glasses. We arrived at my eye doctor and met an employee named Tonae. She was very helpful and pleasant to work with. Tonae not only repaired the cracked glasses. She also recommended a second pair of glasses and filled the prescription. In my opinion, Tonae is a gem and a huge asset to the business. Thank you, Tonae!

My experiences at My Eye Dr.- Canton have been wonderful. I started seeing Dr. Buchanan when she was located in Bowie and followed her to Baltimore. She has amazing chair-side manner; she provides clarity with patient education, and is extremely personable and caring. She makes sure she discusses care options in a way that empowers her patients without making them feel overwhelmed. She also is extremely timely, without making her patients feel rushed, but making sure their time is respected during visits. She a great optometrist- would highly recommend!
