I have been using the Dundalk Walmart vision center for years. Loved the doctor. The women were not very friendly. Evidently, my vision insurance isn't very wonderful. But it's all I have. I had a very bad experience with Dundal Walmart vision for well over a month. I really am struggling to see on the computer and read with my special education students. Finally, I found Selena at Optical Fair in Eastpoint! She was absolutely amazing! No lying, very professional, friendly and patient. She was on the phone with my vision insurance company for almost 40 minutes! She got the job done! Thank you Selena! You were so amazing! Thank you! I am so excited that I will be getting glasses in 7 to 10 business days! What a blessing you are!!

I can honestly see why their reviews are crappy! They lied to me saying my daughters eye visit won't be covered through the insurance until next month. Yet I called her insurance company to see if its true and it is NOT, they only cover once a year routine checkups but if she is having a problem with seeing then it would be covered. So I call Optical Fair back letting them know what my daughters insurance said and the MANAGER said if I want to pay the $40 to see the Dr's but the insurance wont cover it. These people are very unprofessional and seems not to care about anyone at all. I guess I will have to go else where to have my daughter seen. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!! Dont waist your time with them.

This eye glass business, is not good for children, because when you take frames back to be repaired,they can never Repair them,instead they offer to sell you new frames telling you they can't be repaired. So twice I took frames, elsewhere,to be repaired,with no problems.......all about the money.

Staff isn't very friendly at all. I needed my prescription sent to another provider and couldn't get this done. I called repeatedly and got put on hold or hung up on. They acted like I was annoying them for asking for my prescription. My new provider even called and still couldn't get it sent and they were rude to her too. The doctor is great, he's very friendly and professional but his staff is why I will never return. If I treated patients this way at the dental office where I work, I would be fired.

So far. Not happy. I will leave a better review if the problem is fixed. I waited 3 working day weeks for my glasses. Still didn't get what I wanted. Live and learn. If I wasn't a deeply spiritual woman I would go there and raise hell.hope my review helps someone else. They have 2 stars for a reason. Not to mention they tell lies. And ripping people off.Shame on them. off. What Comes around goes around. Please for your own sake go somewhere else anywhere else.

Not only are the receptionists rude to every person who walks through the door, they tend to lose records as well. I've been going there for years and not once have I had a successful visit. For example, I made an appointment and she had informed me that I haven't had an exam since 2013, meaning I needed another one before I ordered contacts. Knowing this wasn't true, I scheduled an exam for the following week anyway. In the meanwhile, I asked the receptionist if she could contact my insurance company to make sure I hadn't had one in 2014 and that I was going crazy or something and she never called and never got back to me. When I got there, I filled out my paperwork and took a seat. After an hour going by of everyone going in and out of their exams (the doctor was late too), I finally asked how long it would take until I went back. The lady then told me that I could not be seen until later in the month since I had one in June of 2014 and that I could not order more contacts until I had another exam. If I could give them 0 stars, I would. I DO NOT recommend at all. Rude people, bad service.

Absolutely love it there. The lady's were very friendly and patient with my 3 rambunctious girls, who clearly didn't want to just sit still. The doctor was very knowledgeable and a delight to speak with. The lady even helped me pick out frames.

I've had to use them to get safety glasses for work for years. In the past things were as they should be (albeit the staff acts like you're inconveniencing THEM for doing business with them) but the glasses would come in a timely manner. Last year I straight up didn't get my glasses because the vendor tried calling ME instead of dealing with Optical Fair, and then this year I tried again this year hoping this was a mulligan, but here we are another year with the same problems. This place is terrible and all other providers my company uses has no issues.
