Pediatric Eye Care of Maryland

This team of doctors has been amazing to my girls! I can in not knowing what kind of care we were going to receive, but they have truly been pleasant. The locations are convenient and super kid friendly.

I've been a patient here for years. Everything started off good but over the years, the customer service has declined significantly. The schedulers and front desk staff are rude. I had gotten a voicemail to schedule my annual eye exam. I called Monday and left a message; today is Friday and no one bothered to call me back so I called again. This time someone answered (no name given) and was extremely rude, speaking to me as if my calling to schedule an appointment was an inconvenience to her. Then I find out my doctor has left. Why no one bothered to inform me of that until now is still a mystery. Regardless, I will be following her to her new location as she was wonderful. Glad to be leaving this practice behind!

I've been coming here for almost 20 years, but my recent experience here was not great. They took all of the toys out of the waiting room and set magazines out aimed toward the parents. I have an autistic nonverbal toddler, so I had to just chase her around for an hour to keep her from eloping and climbing on chairs. I was told to have her look at the fish, which are positioned behind a desk that someone was working at with other patients during the duration of our visit. I was completely overwhelmed, frustrated and exhausted.

I wish I could give them a zero. They rushed the whole process they dilated her eyes and only waited 5 minutes and sent her in the room with the optometrist. She told me my baby vision was -4.00 when I state to her that she could almost spot an ant on the grown anywhere that her vision couldn't be that bad. We only went because she failed the school eye exam. Then I went to get the prescription glass filled and my daughter said she still couldn't see. So I decided to get an second opinion and I went to Kids Eye Care of Maryland and received an amazing experience. Just to find out my daughter was -1.50 and only need them for school and not for life like the lady at this location told me. Upsetting me as I'm now believing I failed my kid and didn't know her vision was bad to learn this information today. Now I have to exchange the two pair of glasses I bought for her. Believe your children if they say they can't see because this place will send your children blind.

Dr Andorsky is kind and patient. He's straight forward when he needs to be and doesn't waste anyone's time. I recommend this practice!

I been going here for years. There are some hit and miss rude encounters with the front desk associates but overall it's pretty decent. I see a female optometrist and she is so nice, friendly and professional. She explains everything she is doing or about to do. She's definitely what was/is needed. I wish they bring the children books or toys back but I guess due to Covid happening they had to take it away. My only issue is I just wished all employees were welcoming and acknowledges everyone that comes in

I have never been so annoyed in my life my daughter needs her vision checked and they called me 4PM afternoon the day before her appointment . I take off work to take my child where she needs to go . Where am I going to find another appointment this last minute . So now I'm off for no reason missing my money and now have to reschedule an appointment with someone else ! Meanwhile my child is going blind . This is horrible customer service . And very careless ! Won't be returning !!!!!!! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE ! don't bother with these inconsistent inconsiderate people !

Great staff with patience for children. The attached optical store was also great. Love the staff.
