This place is very unprofessional and the equipment is outdated. They literally gave me an exam in the back of the front lobby. I was sitting on a stool with low light. They didn't explain what they were doing before or after. They dr. Didn't identify himself, I had to ask his name. He told me l needed to come back to get my BP checked and to get my eyes dilated. He told me I had dry eyes and needed a prescription. I would have to make another appointment to get the prescription. The equipment is very outdated. The eye chart is a mirror. He kept the light on when doing the eye exam. The frames are all under lock and key. I am still mad my friend for recommending this horrible place. Don't go there ever

I've been going here since I was a kid and I love the overall service, but as someone who values time they will test your patience. It can literally be you and one other person in the entire waiting room and it will still take 2-3 hours to get in and out. Other than suggesting you clear your entire day to be seen, I would absolutely recommend.

I been going here for a couple years now the wait time to take a minute sometimes but I love ma brown she always come through when you need her they are very helpful

Sanaga Optical provides exceptional optometry service. Staff are always cordial and courteous; willing to help with insurance and answer related questions. Very cozy atmosphere. Each customer receives focused care. Sanaga is my go to for routine eye care. There are other locations in the City.

I have been to both locations mondawmin and west side shopping center and I hate both locations. There is only one doctor and they over book appointments and you have a longggg wait. I don't understand why this doctor won't hire extra help which is pure greedy you can't handle all of these patients. Everytime I get glasses it's the same prescription nothing has changed I don't see how glasses correct my vision if it's still the same. Iam currently looking for another clinic to go to. Both locations are always crowded which makes no sense. I don't recommend this clinic to anyone at all I would have rated zero stars but had to leave a star to leave a review.

I had a fantastic experience with my eye doctor! From the moment I walked into the office, the staff was welcoming, professional, and incredibly kind. The doctor was thorough, patient, and took the time to explain everything in a way that made me feel comfortable and informed. What stood out most was how genuinely they cared about my eye health--not just rushing me through an appointment. They listened to my concerns, answered all of my questions, and helped me find the perfect prescription and frames.

Awesome service and a great doctor Da Facts

I came to this office April of last year , horrible experience. I came in for an eye exam, they didn't even check the pressure of my eyes . The alleged doctor said the machine is broken. Ok so fast forward to the rest of the eye test . After they were allegedly done they diagnosed me with glaucoma and said I needed a prescription that cost $800 . I came in because I had dry eye for that matter . How can you diagnose someone for optic never damage and you didn't check the eye pressure to begin with . So a year later I go the Wilmer Eye Institute and they administered all the eye test . Didn't say a word about Glaucoma ! Stay away from this office I'm confident in saying that I know I'm not the only person that has been misdiagnosed!
